  1. Well said Booger. That particular post, in Coach-T's words, crossed the line of constructive criticism and degenerated into excessive negativity toward coach/player. Coach-T runs a class act on here and absolutely does not tolerate posts of that nature. Sounds like Sunbright girls are doing pretty good and definitely could alter predictions for this district by the middle to end of the season. Who knows....could be earlier than that. Good Luck Lady Tigers ! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. Oneida has a fine junior class that will step into the leadership roll in the 2008-2009 season. That along with several other returning players and a great coaching staff will have them in the run for another Region title and hopefully a run at the gold ball. Oneida Middle School is coming off a State Championship and several players from that team will be nice additions to the Indian squad. Time will tell.
  3. Hats off to the Oneida Indians on such an awesome season. Truly a great bunch of young men. Let your accomplishments you have made be a foundation for the success you reach for in your adult life. GO BIG "O" !
  4. Have not heard any talk on District 4AA yet. Scott High girls looked impressive Tuesday in their win against Midway. Hope this is the beginning of good things for the team. K. Lowe has worked hard during and off season throughout her career and it would be nice to end your high school career on a good season. With only two seniors in Lowe and Owens the Lady Highlanders have young players "O" plenty. Maybe this is the beginning of what might turn this team around. Sophomore Anderson sidelined for a while with knee surgery will hopefully come back full force to add to the attack. I wish the Lady Highlanders the best of luck. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  5. Heard Oneida had no trouble with Monterey in the scrimmage last Thursday Nov 13. I also realize a couple of Monterey's better players have transferred out, but I hope the Oneida girls utilize their athletisism, basketball skills, and great coaching to build on a successful season. GOOD LUCK THIS YEAR LADY INDIANS ! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  6. I am a pain....well maybe.....but sometimes the truth hurts.
  7. I have a comment to add on the Clarkrange program. Two years ago we had a travel team playing in Cookeville at the Sportsplex and Clarkrange was there. The whole team or at least all the players that were there played on the team. A parent of a player was coaching and low and behold who was sitting behind the bench...coaching....Mr. Rogers. Between games he huddled the team and talked with them. Actually, I have pictures to prove it. This is not the first time this act was observed at the Sportsplex facility with the same team. Now the last time I checked that was totally NOT ALLOWED according to TSSAA. Well no wonder they are ALWAYS so good. If a coach could basically coach the team year round others might have a slight edge. Now, on another note.... He is a good coach and he does have good players but rules are rules. Even for a team that has A LOT of gold balls.
  8. Way to go Coalfield Lady Jackets. You gals are a great team and will be for years to come. Such an accomplishment for such a young pitcher too. Congrats young lady. Who all from the team made all-tournament or do they even have one? /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  9. Apparently they all play hard except Oneida. Most of those girls act like they could care less. I also heard that the older girls wanted to loose because they had "better things to do". Seriously..... apparently the older ones while meeting at pitchers mound commented "don't try to win". Not taking anything away from Wartburg because those girls WANTED to win and deserved it. Go Lady Dogs ! Oneida girls were laughing when they missed balls and everything. Apparently it doesn't matter to their coach because there was no disiplinary action taken and I know he saw it because he yelled at them. He soulda put those girls on the bench in. Someone needs to get control. I would be ashamed to have them represent my school. If you are going to loose at least let it be players that want to be there.
