Jackson SS dint play as bad as the score showed friday. 5 turnovers killed them. If they can hold on to the ball they should compete against Crockett frfi. I call for SS to play better but lose in a close game Crockett co 20 jackson SS 13 GO HAWKS!!!!

Southside is down this year. They looked very bad last week against dyer co. 42-0 in 3rd quarter 42-15 final. I say lexington 21-12 at home.

Im taking SS big at home 41-7 Lexington as alot of injuries and are alil down this year IMO It might get ugly at the Hawks nest friday. Last 2 yrs its been blow outs 57-3 and 41-0.

Will SS be able to defend the passing attack of DC? Throwing the ball that much if SS can not successful run the ball and kept out of the DC QB hands. This could be a long game i mean literally a long game. Is this game played at SS or DC? This game could last 2 and a half hours i went to the HBT/GC friday night it lasted till 10. No way! Huntingdon is not JCS. They beat Westview in their 1st game. Milan has been reading their press clippings too much and they are likely going to have to lose a game before their players really wake up and play with a sense of urgency. Coming back and winning that game last week was good but a loss would have probably done them better in the sense that it would have really got their players attention. JCS is as good as huntingdon if not better. Milan will shut down holder. He'll be lucky to get 100 yards. Tell me how Hun plan on stoping Gilbert!!!? Not going to happend! It may not be as close as i predicted. If Holder can't run it'll be a blow out

Liberty is prob the best team in west tn. Lost 20-18 to Henery co. last wk. Im not say Haywood is aweful but unless they show more thatn they did against JCM it will be a blow out. I agree JCM is improving and nobody should take them lightly.

It may have been a rivalry game but they should have won. JCM was 0-10 last yr. they are improved but come on thats a game you have to win! Liberty is 4 real. They will blow out Haywood if they play like they did against JCM. I say Liberty 32 haywood 12

Milan 35-21 In a hard fought game. Milan must slow down Holder. It would be a fun game to watch.

Man DC passing game is good! 39-58 375 yards and 4 tds wow! Im picking SS to win in a high scoring game. 41-32 SS will need to run run run!! DC run def. is weakness and SS should rack up some big numbers. Good luck GO HAWKS!

Im picking GC in an upset 27-26. it's the pass verus the run. GC scores a late td for the win.

DC has to replace to many starters. Im picking Dyersburg 34-13. With taylor scoring 3 tds. Im very interested in this game. Jackson SS visits DC in next week. good luck both teams

If Southside finds a Qb i would put them tied with Liberty at num 1. But they lost alot of Off. The Def will be good as it gets in Jackson. so here's my picks preseason 1 Liberty beat SS last yr and they have alot coming back. Brooks is a good great QB. 2. Southside loaded on Def- Jefferies is back at LB ,David Smith at DE/LB , and Grimes at DE/LB all three preseason all-state. 3.USJ Overby enuff said 4.Trinty washington may be a one man show there but in HS you can win like that. 5.JCS may not be as strong this yr. jones is a good QB. they have a great coach so it's not that much seperating the 3 private schools. 6.NS they lost a great RB 7. JCM 0-10 hard to move them up the list but NS and JCM may surprise. Guys lets just enjoy another great year of HS football!!
