  1. Haven't really seen the Maryville QBs as much, but id say its between James and Young
  2. I would have to say either Shuler of Maryville or Toney of Alcoa...Taharin Tyson will end up being a great FB for the next few years though /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. TE-Tyler Robinson of Alcoa WR-Chris Jordan of Maryville
  4. My bad.........Quarles and his squad will hit halls where it hurts and walk away with the W /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. If i told you who else i like you will prolly need to take back what you have been saying
  6. oh darn you caught me, how did you know i was on the bandwagon? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> ...Nice try, what team are you for then Bldrunner???
  7. Wait til basketball season this year for UT...thats gonna be entertaining...and i like how you changed the subject from Alcoa and Oak Ridge so fast
  8. well i agree with BCsportsfan on this one...as of right now the scrimmage is on August 12th at Alcoa...and i believe it was at Oak Ridge last year. VERY entertaining /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  9. Also from Alcoa is Austin Tallant...very smart quarterback with a really strong arm
  10. I also enjoyed watching Knox Central and Cleveland...both teams did well all day long
  11. I agree that Alcoa would be a good idea, really anywhere that is big...and has AIR CONDITIONING. I have gone for the past two years and there hasn't been and AC. I don't really mind cause i get to watch some good basketball, but it would be nice /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Two other Alcoa players that scored were sophomores Jared Jett and Parker Brown, both catching great balls in the end zone...I was very impressed with all of the Alcoa quarterbacks yesterday, and the defense did great too, with Cameron Foster, Chase James, Sam Thompson, and others all getting interceptions...I cant wait to see the Tornadoes in action this season /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. Vesser and Cody both had some great catches...Many players on this Alcoa team stood out to me today...I usually wouldn't want to sit in that heat for so long, but i truly enjoyed it
  14. it went very well for the tornadoes, considering that they couldn't use their true offense because, as it has been previously said, they are a play-action team...Chaz Vesser and Cody Lewis caught my eye in the freshman game...i really enjoyed it /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. Its difficult to say GovMan...i know how good of an athlete he is (i don't know if you have to be athletic for badminton) but im not sure how ill compare...we'll try it sometime and ill get back to you /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. sounds exciting...ill be in attendance /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. your fine GovMan, i understand /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> ...im not really sure of the score of the jv/freshman scrimmage, but not many TDs were scored...i don't know if it was just good defense from both teams or what, but it was fun to watch what both teams are going to look like for the future /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  18. Hes got great hands and is a smart player for his age...he isn't very big but i know that he works his butt off in the weight room, and he will be a valuable asset to the team over the next few years...ahsfootball welcome to the site /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> it was kinda hard to tell with those shirts they were wearing, but i believe i saw him catch two or three...
  19. I do agree that the McMinn Central team Alcoa played last spring is much better than last years team, but not nearly as much as the Tornadoes, even with some of their older guys on the sidelines, as you said BCsportsfan...McMinn couldn't beat Alcoa even when basically all the Tornadoes had was sophomores and freshmen going against their varsity
  20. Alcoa did scrimmage McMinn Central in the spring, but there was no way Alcoa was going to be taken down by them at all...Alcoa didn't even play their best, with a few unwanted turnovers, and still came out on top...KEEP DREAMING /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  21. Zach Witt has improved a lot since he was at Alcoa, but over that year so has Chase James...I thought they both looked great out there and so did Steven Isom, pulling down two TDs...and Daniel Cline with that pick on 4th down...I enjoyed it and i hope to see the Alcoa-William Blount matchup in pads sometime in the next couple years /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. First possession Willy B drove down and scored and i believe the was the last time they did. Sam Thompson had an 80 yard TD and Steven Isom had two TDs...Daniel Cline brought an interception back for 6 and Chase James really showed up...he was throwing great /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  23. Life's not fair and you have to know that there will be painful times in your life as well as on the field
  24. Last year the freshman team was extremely strong...this year shouldn't be really different, with Vesser, Rankin, and Hambrick... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  25. well either way is fine with me, i will be in attendance for sure... /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
