What’s going on with this process? This seems to be dragging out too long, but maybe that’s just me being impatient.

No doubt about it. They are easily one of the top 5 teams in 2A this season. They will still be good in 2022 as well, but I think this 2021 team could be a little better.

I am hoping Jones gets the job, but I will support whoever is hired. Is a decision coming soon?

You are right. At least he did have one good season. The 2013 season was a good one.. so there’s that anyway.

Now Bushhog no need to sandbag. Marion had some very fast young men last year as they will again this season. I believe 2021 should be your best team since 2016.

I miss the SP/Oneida games from years past. That would be a cool regular season series to start back up at some point.

LMBO.. call me crazy but I remember Trousdale beating SP 13-6 AT Trousdale with us dropping a pass in the end zone in the fourth that would have tied the game. I believe TC was down 6-5 in the fourth quarter that night. There probably wasn’t 300 total yards of offense between the two teams. Trousdale beat Oneida at Oneida 2 TDs so I’m not sure I’m following you.

I would Absolutely agree with that statement. If you can beat Meigs then you can be in Cooke....Chattanooga. Still getting use to saying that..

That was a terrific ball game even though we were on the losing end. Two very good teams that night. The 2 best in the state that year for sure.

I wasn’t around then, but was that the game I heard about where SP did fine until the rains came, the field got sloppy, then it was all downhill after that? I never saw footage of it, but I remember the talk about that game. Oneida was a big physical team?

You would think it would be hard to mess up that hire.
