Lets go fellas put it together friday and keep that trophy at volunteer we worked hard the past 2 years to keep it there cause Lord knows that trophy had been in Rogvegas way too long

I hope Volunteer comes out swinging and expects to leave East with a W

I know the past couple of years East has had some smaller defensive lineman but they were fast and had good hands. So if Volunteer's O-line can give Luke some time to throw and open up some holes i believe they will put the points on the board. I like Volunteer in this one by a Touchdown.

Bump Mays...but i dont see anyone "hating on Rogers." The thing is for us former players of the the past few years. We have been through the VHS football program and we know how it is. We have been playing with these upcoming seniors since they were freshman. And 2 of the candidates for the running back position run hard and can find holes and have been in the mix since their sophmore year. I know both of them have had alot of JV time and a good share of Varsity time. This isn't their first rodeo.

Volunteer has good equipment in the weight room and kept getting better while I played. I know Coach Rider does all he can to get his players the the best stuff possible. But the biggest problem is the lack of space. With the program growing like it has the past few years they could benefit by having bigger locker rooms and definitely a bigger weight room.

Best of luck to the Falcons this year...i know Coach Rider has had them workin hard in the weight room. With three-a-days getting ready to start i know they will be glad they did work that hard. Because what other team in Tennessee has to walk up a hill like the Falcons do to practice. And I know that walkin that hill the past four football seasons in full pads with some days in 90+ heat it felt like you were climbing a mountain!
