  1. Fatdaddy, Westmoreland is way down this year. Especially up front against the run. I wouldnt even bring any fans up this week because it will be a blow out for Upperman Honey bees. I hear they are as good as that 96 team ya'll had with Bear Bryant coaching back then. With the D-1 qb ya'll have I dont see us having a chance. Slimshady is an expert I'm sure as everybody else is from Hartsville. Slimshady, what D-1 school will Fields go to after highschool graduation? [/quote Well being the renowned expert that I am, I'd say he'll end up at The University of Austin Peay, or The University of The School of Arts. Those are 2 powerhouses everyone loves. He might be QB for the new startup team @ The University of Technology at Trousdale Elementary School. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align] I am going out on a limb and guessing Navy or Northwestern...Just a guess...We will all know soon...I dont think The University of The School of Arts team or The University of Technology at Trousdale Elementary School , has contacted him yet.
  2. I am not his daddy..his dad is one of the coaches for upperman.... .I call myself sportsdaddy5 becuase I have 5 children that are involved in sports...Thats the only reason I have that name...As far as Ty goes, I am a family friend...If you have followed what I said ...I also made the statement Upperman is loaded...Is it my fualt the kid has offers from D-1 schools? Good for him OR ANY OTHER KID IN THIS AREA that gets the offers...I understand what you are saying and no I am not that guy...but at the sametime He really does have the offers, what I cant understand is how so many people are against that?..Just for the record ..he is well liked by his teammates and community..He is very level headed and most importantly a good kid...I do hear what your saying though and appreciate your opinion.
  3. My heart says Upperman...It will be a good game...Upperman will be hard to stop on offense, if the defense is as good as its looked in the scrimmages and jamboree, they have a shot of winning....They may catch some teams off guard this year.
  4. Ty has offers from Navy, Northwestern and Illinoi....so far, Navy has his attention....And yes Cookeville played there staters and yes Upperman outscored them in the jamboree.(For what its worth)...Upperman will outscore a lot of teams this year in the first half and then lack of depth may show up....Upperman will get peoples attention this year....with an explosive offense and much improved defense ....They will have a good year...how good?...who knows
  5. How long did it take you to think all that up?..(Good Job)...No, he doesnt need to thank me...He is just fine...wether you like it or not...the kid is college material...We all will see very soon....I bet when the kid is playing in college...YOU will be one of those people who will be saying.."He made it becuase of his performance against Red Boiling Springs".....That is Genius....Anyway......Go think of something good to say
  6. Thanks "homer"...Just giving my take on it...like everyone else...Its okay to agree to disagree fellas...
  7. Thats fine you can trash me all you want...(maybe it makes you feel big)....when the kid is playing on Saturdays, then i guess maybe...just maybe ...YOU might see what i am talking about....If your not a college recruiter then you are have no more credibility than anyone on here...All your verbal diahera comes some website or magazine ...just like most of ours....But your probably a genius...You go gettem ....
  8. No i am not Tys daddy...I have just followed this young man since youth football.....He deserves all the attention he is getting, the kid works hard, stays out of trouble and most importantly is a good student and fine young man for younger athletes to look up to.....I cant help that prepstar has him rated in the top 10 recruits in the country..( as a dual threat qb)...Maybe instead of degrading this young mans talent , and always wanting to find flaws, we should embrace it and hope all the hype is accurate ...maybe it will bring more recruiting eyes to this division in general(no matter who you follow)....No i am not confused about Uppermans talent this year....Funny thing about football is after all the talk and all the insults..You still have to play the game....As far as York and SC holding Ty to minimum yard....That will happen to every QB sooner or later...Although i am sure it wasnt actually York vs Ty or SC vs Ty....I think it was York vs Upperman and SC vs Upperman....Anyway, sometimes you should cheer for the young man ( he deserves it)...even though he may lead your enemy into battle on the gridiron.....This is good for this area and division...
  9. I am pretty sure schools at the next level look at stats also and not just wins..Oh yea..keep a close eye on Upperman this year...Just might get your attention....Although Mr. Fields is the best q.b. in the div and possibly the state..He is not the only talented player on the Upperman squad this year ...CAN YOU SAY..."LOADED"....LOOK OUT!
  10. Well ...he is as good as advertised...not to mention, he is going to have choice of a lot of schools at the next level... (2008-07-12) Ty Fields, quarterback extraordinaire from Baxter, Tenn., is ranked by PrepStar Magazine as one of the nation's Top 10 dual-threat quarterbacks for the class of 2009. Going into his senior year, Ty Fields has already amassed career like numbers, passing for over 5,000 yards with 38 touchdowns. As a junior the highly decorated signal caller completed over 63% of his passes, hitting on 166 of 263 attempts for 2,030 yards and 16 scores. His QB rating was also off the charts at 142.6. What makes this young man so dangerous is that he is a real play maker who can make something out of nothing and he has the mobility, speed and athleticism to hurt you with his feet. As a junior Ty Fields rushed for 561 yards and six touchdowns, numbers most running backs would be proud to have. Expectations are high for Ty as he enters his final season on the high school level and the interest from D-1 colleges is beginning to swell. Ty has already heard from schools such as Vandy, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Duke, Northwestern, and has an offer on the table from the Naval Academy. Look for Ty to have an encore season this year and elevate his name among the nation's most coveted high school football prospects for the Class of 2008. This young man is by far the best in the div....and top 3 in the state....We can go back and forth on who the best is and its always going to be different, becuase evryone has an opinion and is an expert...so my expert opnion is... Theres Ty Fields and then everyone else can fight for 2nd best
  11. Well PrepStar Mag Thinks hes pretty good if being considered top 10 in country is good...So does Vanderbilt,Georgia Tech, The Naval Academy.....So...I would say YES HE IS
