Just curious flying falcon mom, what does your last name have to be to play on this team? I too know who your son is, and he was not playing for a reason. Why are you even still on here bashing this team. You should spend your energy cheering on the team that wanted your son(God forbid whoever that was)

Lincoln Co. is the most poorly coached team I have ever seen. I dont fully blame Coach Thompson. He probably has the worst coaching staff in the state. Kids continue to take the blame from the coaches, but they are just poorly coached. Even less talented teams can play fundamently sound football and be compeitive. This isnt a very talented team,but they are also very poorly coached. The last few years have been very average at best. Without a great player or two the last couple of years, LC would be winless those years also. Keep blaming the players, coaches, and those of you who keep praising coach Thompson, keep praising him. THe rest of us that love and support Falcon football will continue to watch the Falcons go backwards. Please, somebody step up for these kids. The few players that love the game deserve better!

how did giles run defense look good. Lincoln Co. had 7 rushes for about 125

Not a lot of depth, but 1st team looks to be pretty good. They ran the ball really well up the middle against both Giles Co. and Smyrna. Thats a good sign.

Any thoughts on Lincoln Co. for the upcoming yr?

The Falcons are capable of playing catchup; they did it at Baylor; they were down 35-14; came back in the 4th qtr to force the OT.

I havent seen Siegal, but Cookville is slow and methodical on offense. Pretty fair on defense, but they just dont have any speed

Your right about not knowing what went on in the pile. We will never know, but what did you see in that film that suggested 54 should have been thrown out. All the ref said was that 54 ripped 78's helmet off and that was an automatic ejection. If something happened on previous plays, then yes it should have been taken care of then and there. Is that a fantasy world Im living in. What else would you like for the video to show. It looks pretty clear to me. Now let me get back to my fantasy world.

Opinions do not matter here, 54 was reinstated and apoligized to by the ref. He will be playing this Friday night.

And in my earlier comment that was probably good because it was very early in the game and it would have been a long night for the poor boy! Now, where did you come up with this "Old Ref". We watched the whole tape of the first quarter and 54 for LC had his way with 78 the whole quarter, many times putting 78 flat on his back. You need to know fact before you speak. What film did you see to come to this conclusion that it would have been a long night for 54. One of the refs commented at halftime to 54's Dad that 78 was really frustrated and had been getting his tail whipped. This was what caused the poor sportsmanship.
