I find it very ironic that a DB fan is defending their players/play calling. Just like the blocks JeffCo used on you all night long were legal and all you did was wimper and whine about it. I see'em every game I watch.

As far as DB being the best team in East TN , Maryville for Farragut would make very short work of them. As far as this game, its anyone's guess. JC has come out absolutely flat on every game since Greeneville. It depends on which JC shows up.

If they get past the D line look out. 28 points a game is not acceptable. Karns was 24 but they missed 4 extra point attempts. The DBs are playing the ball not the player. For the last time, no one is saying try tried to hurt your players on purpose. No one told a JC player to go take out number such and such. JC played a very physical game and never gave up. And for that, yes I'm proud. I really hate it for the injured players especially if they're seniors.

Nope, I've snagged a Brown Trout here. You guys up there have your nose stuck so far up in the air its pathetic. You all made these crazy predictions on how you were going to roll over the Patriots with 40 or 50 points in the game, all your best players were gonna have record nights, etc.. Well guess what... This team didn't go belly up like you expected them to and put up a great fight. Your premadonnas got shut down. And you can't stand it!!! Both sides were at fault for bad hits, trash talking, etc... Even your QB said that was the hardest hit he ever had in his life. I guess we should have gotten a flag for hitting to hard? The beatdown?? You're players were the ones limping off the field, not ours. We lost our starting QB for the season to a horse collar tackle, our starting LB to a cheap play, and our starting KO return player, all in the same game against Campbell County. If you think this was a tough game wait till you play them. You ain't seen nothing yet. It was like a WWF match. Maybe, maybe not. I for one would like to see it changed up some on certain situations. Give the opposing O something different to contend with. Variety is the spice of life.

You got some players hurt. I really hope that they are not serious injuries. At least they weren't singled out like McFall was the last time we played up there. You must not remeber the late hit out of bounds on McFall which took him out of the game. Then low and behold a DB player was quoted in your paper saying "We knew had to take him out (McFall) if we where gonna win the game." Yeah thats sportsmanship.

OK there Mr Never Won the Big One, Golf and Parcheesey don't count. Its football dude. You won on the board but you got your but whipped on the field. We played our back up QB, a backup RB, backup LB. Your D1 back got shut down, your QB was your leading rusher. I didn't see the big night your studs were supposed to have by running all over us. Each team had 9 penalties. JC for 111yds DB for 85. Most of ours were at the worst possible time. After a big gain or in the red zone. I hope we can see ya again in the play offs with a heathly squad and some refs who know how to do their job. That game would be most interesting.

If there is, the captians and others, need to step up, set the example and put a stop to it. Its not fair to the ones who are giving 110%. I'm with you, and I hope this isn't the case. As someone said earlier in another post, "What this team needs is leadership!" It needs heart, a true motivator from within the team. The players can talk to other players in ways the coaching staff can't due to politically correct reasons. Sounds like its more of a DB problem though. Last chance for JC to win over DB in regular season play. Whats it gonna take? I think shut down DB's run game and step it up on special teams. Don't know what its gonna take for this team to play like they did at Greeneville, super hard hits and a never give up mentality, but that is a must have if they're gonna win. They've got this attitude back. Every game since then, they have been man handled, pushed around, and flat laid out at times. How much longer are they gonna take it. Jeff Co must play with the same intensity as they played Greeneville. Hard hits on every play and make East dread taking the field on change of posessions.
