Sorry we play UC this week and I only (try) to think about one game at a time...This one could be the biggest game of the year for us. The restaurant your talking about (I think) has been changed to a Mexican Restaurant...we have not eaten there yet. I have noy kept up with trey since all his problems so I couldn't say.

We will talk about Lake County after Friday night...No reason to address that issue until then! GO RED DEVILS

Your right Butchie, both coaches and both staffs (as far as I know) are a real class acts! They instill what is really important in the lessons of life that will follow these boys for a long time. My football coaches changed my life and put me on a path to success. These 2 coaching staffs will do the same for those who are true to themselves and want to be a success in life!

Wow thanks for the vote of confidence! AGAIN since before the start of the season I said we would make the playoffs. Other than the game of the week predictions (and a steak dinner bet on the UC game with a good friend) that is the only prediction I have made. So thanks for supporting my position on SF making the playoffs! GO RED DEVILS...WE BELIEVE...

Those rushing figures are probably from the first half only. The difference was that SF played outstanding defense for 4 quarters not just 2. Greenfield has had trouble playing 4 quarters this year from what i have seen and read. McKenzie will win this one in a close game if Greenfield plays 4 quarters if not they will be blown out.

Thanks Butchie, We sure have caused a lot of commotion on coacht this year. We have talent, drive, heart, leadership and finally a coach that can put it all together. I know all the fans of the teams that we have not played yet think that we are just lucky or as one has said on this posting our "schedule will push us to the playoffs", but that does not matter to us as you can't win 6 straight games without a great team. I do realize that U.C. and McKenzie will be tough games, but we are ready for it as we are used to tough games! For some reason everyone wants to beat South Fulton. LOL Guess thats because we are so lucky...LOL

Man you have done alot of thinking about this! Were you one of the people that picked South Fulton Dead last in the region this year? There were alot of them! LOL I'm not saying we will go undeafeated although that is still a possibility which NO ONE in our region can claim after 6 games, but I am saying as i have said all year South Fulton will be in the playoffs this year. When I was talking about that before the season started Most people were making fun of us...Nobody is laughing now are they? There always seems to be some type of excuse...now it was our schedule that "might" get us to the playoffs. Whew, I was afraid the boys might have to work hard and play with a lot of heart with the best Class A coach in the state to have a chance how ever small it is at 6-0 to make the playoffs! Bottom Line South Fulton has done what they have had to do to win the game. GO RED DEVILS!!!

Those numbers are inaccurate for high school. Those numbers are the numbers for the middle and high school combined. I wish we had that many students! Coach Spivey would just put an even more powerful team on the field! Boy we finally have a winning season and already people are whinning about our winning. lol. Thanks GFF, Greenfield played a very hard game and our defense really shined in this game. I understand Greenfields frustration at the end of the game and appreciate the apology. Yall hold your heads up the seasons not over yet and Greenfield will win more games this year.

They might as well turn the lights out for home comming because that will be the only lights they turn off and the only siren that blows for Greenfield Friday Night. This South Fulton team will not nor can not be intimidated this year. Sorry to spoil your Homecoming....good luck to all Go Red Devils

Devils Pride was not trying to jinx us but if you were at the game last night you would know what he meant. The conduct of the interior line was so bad, someone could have been seriously hurt in a blow out game and that would be a tragedy. We have had three games this year were the refs were just awful. The only reason no one has said anything about it is because we are winning and there is no reason to get upset when it does not matter as far as win/loss. The rest of the schedule it could matter, so I hope the refs in the comming weeks call a fair game on both sides of the ball.

South Fulton will win by 2 touchdowns. You say they have not played any tough teams. I disagree. Yes there were a 2 or 3 teams without a good team this year, but if you look at some of the KY teams we have beat and followed some of their schedules you will see they have played some very tough teams and have hung with them. The coaches and the players have taken this season one game at a time and prepared very well against each team. As long as we stay disciplined we can and will beat evy team in the region this year. Again I'm not saying we have the most talent but so far we have played smarter, harder and with more heart than the rest. Like I have said in other posts, other teams (and some of our own fans) just do not give these players and the coaching staff the respect they deserve on the field. From week 0 people said we would finish dead last or next to last in the region. Now they are saying well we haven't had a very tough schedule yet. Keeping making excuses and I'll keep smiling because I BELIEVE GO RED DEVILS

You are so right! The kids have wanted to play and to coached to win the last few years, but getting coach Spivey was a blessing! He has talent to motivate the players and to show them how to win without cursing and putting down the players or blaming them for a bad season. I know the next five games will be very tough but I believe they can make the playoffs.

Well O.K. we were not listed on coach t as having a game this week but we had another non region game this week against Fulton County KY. South Fulton dominated the entire game with outstanding Offense and the Defense was awesome. Final score 54-18 We are now 5-0 and the season starts now! We have Greenfield this Friday. GO RED DEVILS

Impressive! If i'm not mistaken this is coach Spivey's first head coach job and hist first 4 games are a win. If they win this week they would have matched the last three years win totals combined. Congratulations to the coach and the entire team!

4-0 We are now the ONLY unbeaten team in our region! We are still getting little respect from the rest of the region and like I said in the begining of the year that is fantastic. The rest of the region is worried about McKenzie, Union City, and some about Greenfield. I guess the reason we get no respect is that the two region games were against teams that are having a "rebuilding" year. But wait! If my memory serves me correctly South Fulton was picked to finish last in the region by just about every one. Well thats ok with me, cause we are taking this season one game at a time and we are improving drastically with every game. I'm not saying we are the most tallented team in the region, but we have the confidence, the best coaching, and players with more heart and confidence than anyone in the region. At least for one week we can hold the claim to the only unbeaten team in our region. GO RED DEVILS

This is the first mention of SF in the playoffs this year by a non-SF fan! Wow it has only taken 3 weeks for that to happen. Before the season started we were picked to finish last or next to last. That is alot of respect in a hurry! We are taking this season one game at a time, and with this week open we have alot of work to do. We will take every game very seriously...even Bruceton! We are not the most tallented team in the region, but we play smart and take advantage of the others mistakes as the boys are playing with confidence and are making the plays they need to win. a team with unfaltering CONFIDENCE is very dangerous! Anyway thanks for the vote toward the playoffs and I believe more people will take notice in the next three weeks as we still only have 1 region win.

On a good note for Dresden they will get their first points of the season! On the flip side UC will prevail if they don't take this game lightly, if they do and if they play sloppy it could be close!

I am not familiar with either team but any coach who leaves in his starters during a blowout is foolish, not to mention has litlle class. We have had some teams in the recent past that had been blown out almost every week. All but one team pulled their starters. Now that we are a team to be reckond with, I know our coach will not leave his starters in during a blow out. IT IS JUST NOT THE RIGHT THING TO DO. The right thing to do would be to get some younger players some playing time while protecting your seniors and more valuable players for the next game. It also shows class and mercy to the other team when they are in a bad year. Why leave your starters in if you don't let them play at thier potential ie holding them back? Be the bigger coach, team, and player and do the right thing!
