  1. Thanks Joe 23, I appreciate your reply. We just found out the milan players today when the Milan Mirror came out. ALL DISTRICT Colton Creasy Todd Jones Zach Ryan ALL TOURNAMENT Todd Jones Zach Ryan Rick Moody
  2. Does anybody know the 14 A/AA All District and All Tournament teams?
  3. I haven't seen alcoa play and i'm really looking forward to seeing them friday. Like i said, i haven't seen them play, but i have a hard time believing they're that much better than us. My opinion? If we come out like we have the past two fridays (and i have a feeling we just might), we'll definitely give yall a run for your money. Looking forward to a great game between two great teams. GO DOGS!
  4. Milan is a good team. We showed it last night by finding a way to win when we didn't play very good against a very good team. Enough said.
  5. I think that's a pretty accurate prediction IF both teams play their best. I look for Milan to roll through this game pretty easily, but I know it could turn out differently if we don't stay focused or if we get too cocky. I think the only team that can beat us the rest of the regular season is ourselves. I don't really think that will happen though. I have a feeling we'll be poised and ready for every game we play including this one. Milan in the 40's and humboldt won't have over 20.
  6. Just to let ya'll know, Jobronski was presented the award for player of the week for his game against Camden. I think it was by ESPN radio. Anyway, this kid is the real deal. My only worry is how hard it's going to be for him not to let all this go to his head, but he's a good guy with a great work ethic so I think he'll be ok.
  7. Ok, I have a couple of questions. First off, what was the penalty that they called on J.W. (before Camden's first score i think)? Horsecollar? Facemask? Also, anybody know how many tackles Avery had? As far as the game goes, I thought we had an overall good game. I saw a few things we needed to work on, but mainly we just lost intensity after we got the lead. Congrats to both teams on a great game. And good luck to Camden for the rest of the season. I think we'll probably meet again in the playoffs if both teams live up to their potential.
  8. I was talking to one of the players yesterday, and he said they think that Ward was just trying to make them think this game was going to be easy and we would kill Camden, and they're just working that much harder to prove him right, and believe me they expect to win, but they know it's going to be tough. Anyways, I was wondering if anybody could give me any info. on the Camden away bleachers. Will there be much room and how early do i need to get there to get a seat?
  9. Ok well back to Milan and Camden, I have to pick Milan, but I think this one could be close. Go Dawgs!!
  10. Jobronski Gilbert RB, Avery Williamson LB- Both juniors at Milan Justin Coleman QB- Senior at Milan
  11. I agree that huntingdon is probably good enough to be pretty high in the dirty dozen, but at this point with the season already started, you have to go with results. And the fact is huntingdon got beat pretty bad this week. Maybe a win next week will put them up there somewhere.
  12. I read the paper too and no matter how much you get beat by, you can almost always use the excuse that you beat yourself. (I do it all the time when UT plays....ha ha), but I agree you just need to take the loss and admit that the better team won. On another note, I was very impressed with Huntingdon's offense. It takes a while for the defense to get ajusted, then when you think they are, you get hit with a pass. Very impressive. I lood forward to a great season. Go Dawgs!
  13. I couldn't agree more. And I'll tell you..... the people from milan thinking the least about Alcoa are the players. They're taking this season one game at a time and right now the only game on their minds is the season opener against Huntingdon. Milan's got a great team and a real shot at the state title, but we have to get there first.
  14. I have to think Milan has the better team this year, but I know enough not to count Huntingdon out in a rivalry like this. Both teams are gonna bring everything they have to this one. Go Dawgs!
  15. I like the way you put that. No matter how much we talk about it, both teams still have to go out there and play. And you better believe that both teams are going to give it their all.
  16. Yeah, Milan lost to Trenton last year, but (not to offend any Peabody fans) I do think we were better that them. That just goes to show you that a good team can sometimes beat a better team. Maybe if Milan can make to the title game that'll be the case and Milan will upset Alcoa. That's what I'm hoping for anyways! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  17. Who besides Alcoa has a good chance of winning the 2A championship?
  18. He has a great future ahead of him.
  19. I am glad to see Avery finally getting some credit on this site. He is quite possibly one of the best linebackers in the state. I don't know much about many other teams in the state, but I have to think Milan is up there somewhere. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Go Dogs! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
