Punishment for the RHS player will be served tonight, sitting out a district tournament game. This is proof enough for me! I bet he will think twice about his actions on the court.

Scenario: 4th quarter with 40 seconds left, the Franklin Rebels were down by 2 and had possession of the ball, FHS post player was biten on the arm by a Ravenwood player, FHS player reacts by jerking his arm away, RHS player falls to the ground, ref calls a foul on the FHS player. FHS loses by 2. Thoughts???? If you read my first post, you will see that I did address the reaction by the FHS player. Come on... if someone bit you in the arm, you would react too. As you say, "in response," so you must have seen it too!!!

How did Brentwood do?

Franklin will improve as the season moves along. The only player with varsity experience is McLemore. Little is out with an injury.

Props to to the Rutherford County fans for painting a rose colored picture of the Blackman team and making some sharp jabs at Franklin. I have one word for you today on game day...Karma! To our Rebels--put your game face on, play with all your heart, and believe in yourself!

You can't stand it that FRANKLIN is still in it and Brentwood lost. We had an unusual game against the Bruins with all our turnovers. WE beat Oakland and Brentwood lost. Brentwood's football season is OVER!

I thought Oakland was a Rutherford County school????

How will the Rebels do this year? We all know McLemore will lead the team. How does the bench look? Are there any new players?

McMillan is back, he was on a 2 game suspension for ejection. Franklin will never impress you. Franklin impressed me when they beat Overton and their comeback win @ Lavergne. The Siegal win didn't impress me because the stars were without their best player (Hammonds). And I have been impressed with Franklin over the past 5 years (from derek, dante, and tony: Glover and Batt: and Young, Henry, Starnes, Kegarise, Miller-McLemore). However, this Rebels team this year is different as well as the whole district. There are no big men besides McMillan and none of these teams would be able to hang with any top Memphis team (White Station, Ridgeway, Melrose, Memphis Central). That is my reason why I haven't been impressed, but I hope the Rebels can prove me wrong. To be quite honest, I am tired of reading your "little" comments!

Congratulations to the Rebels! Metro Ballin, you must not have heard that BIG MAC wasn't playing because he had two techs in his last game and was ejected from the game. He had to sit out. And Franklin has already played Overton this year and beat them.

good win by indy...that now makes them 1-15 all time against Franklin. you're an idiot indyeagle. But i will say no team is that good in this district, even hillsboro. Hillsboro is good when they try, but other than that, this district is way down. No team in this district could hang with Melrose, White Station, or Ridgeway and those are the type of teams that will be in the state tournament. And why is it basketballfan123 that you have to be so negative towards Franklin this year? If my memory serves me right, you were one of their number one fans last year. This Hillsboro team that isn't very good this year is the same team that beat Franklin last year. What gives?

Let's go Rebels! Finish out the regular season with a win against Centenniel! You are going to have to play hard!!!

Congratulations to the Rebels on the victory at Brentwood! I noticed on Channel 3 that Nelson had the first and last three. McLemore had a big game too and Matthews was coming back after being sick. Franklin has three more BIG games with Ravenwood Tuesday and Independence on Friday. These are both home games. On Monday, the Rebels head over to Centenniel. Boys, get ready to play like you've never played before!
