What happens with these "County Players of the Year" is they spread the joy around, so not to hurt anyone's feelings. Think back to last year. If not mistaken, Coach Ballard wins Greeneville's, Greene County's, Upper East Tennessee's first State Championship and who get's coach of the year? Ben Murphy. Granted CDHS had a great year, but Coach Murphy over a coach that won his first, school's first, region's first state championship in football? I also believe that Ballard won it the year before. I still believe that Ballard should have been Coach of the year. Do we not give a team a title just because the won it the year before? I think not. Now I would say I'd rather have the gold ball on the shelf then an award of "Coach of the Year." Just a thought.

My question is why people think bad language is acceptable by a coach on the football field, locker room, basketball court etc..., but the classroom teacher can not use it? No difference!

I think Barb is in charge of bringing the Hot Chocolate. She's kind of let down on movie night this year!

Here's my thought for the game Barb. You'll get to see a whole lot of the defense or special teams and very little offense. Well, they say defense wins championships.

If I'm not mistaken GHS put 70 on the board againsst Grainger last year. I could possibly be as ugly. Also, I would guess that Grainger will not travel well. I believe the yaar before last they hardly had anyone in the stands at Greeneville. This will make it even harder for the Grainger guys to be really motivated.

Since this is our last regular season game, Friday will be senior night. The game will probably be ugly. Worse than Friday against CD.

I totally agree. But on the same hand what about the second string for CDHS? Don't they need some experience for next year? Again, that goes both ways. But I do understand a coach wanting to make the scoreboard look respectable.

Keep the uniforms as the are. Some times it's just time to change!

Greeneville is back at #1 this week.

Greeneville will have more fans at the Cumberland Gap and Claiborne games due to ample seating. It was good that they at least made an effort to bring in extra bleachers. I stood up, which it didn't kill me, but it was extremely difficult to see or distingish what was happening out on the field.

Ok, It's time we come clean. The reason the team was late is they got new shoes for tonights game and they wanted to make a "Grand Appearance" so everyone would notice. We didn't know it would upset everyone so much. We can't win for losing, oh, no, we won didn't we?!

Late would be 7:31, but they were dressed and on the visitors sideline ready for kickoff before 7:30. It simply amazes me how childish some of you can be. Who cares where they dressed and warmed up. What matters most is that they showed up and played the game. My kid goes to GCS, but I live in the county, knock the chip off your shoulder and move on.

Just another example of the bad attitude toward GCS. CDHS brought portable seating from somewhere. I just simply asked if WGHS planned to do the same. The question had nothing to do with this so called "money man." Sorry for ruffling your feathers man!

Does any WG fans know of any plans to bring in additional seating for the visitors side for Friday night's game? CDHS did a great job last year bringing in portable bleachers for the CD/GHS game. This would be great as seating at WGHS is way too limited.

I agree this will be a great game, but we need to worry about Friday night's game first.

Which one of the BRAC teams lost to Cocke Co.? Has Cocke County improved or are they just that bad?

This is just an opinion, but WG is still not to the level of most average IMAC teams. They may wish they are, but not quite yet. The outcome is not suprising to me.

HMMM? With or without our NC kid, who went to the State Championship two years in a row? Not EHS!
