  1. I played for Tullahoma, and I am a big fan. But, I know "scared" when I see it. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
  2. All the defense has to do is say "BOO" and he will throw it! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  3. Before I do, did anyone else hear the coaches show last Thursday night? /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  4. Why not? Tullahoma only played one quarter against Whites Creek. If you were to see the game you would understand. If some adjustments, a la "changes" aren't made this week. Tullahoma may very well lose to Coffee County in back to back seasons for the first time in 26 years. We are having our Class of '88" 20 year reunion pep rally on Friday and I do not want to see that happen! /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  5. Officiating tried, but T-Town kept T-Town in check.
  6. Be forewarned. When I make my next post. I will talk about what I saw in the game tonight and what I was hearing in the stands at tonights game. And guess what, I am going to make some people very upset. But before I do my next post, I am going to think long & hard about what I am going to say & how I am going to say it. /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
  7. Is that per month or year? If it is per month then it's outrageous. Per year, it's dirt cheap.
  8. Sounds like somebody has their hands in the architects' cookie jar. Can you say "kick back."
  9. Actually, Maurice went to Ole Miss. We even had a couple that went smaller college too. Our center, Brent Waller went to Austin Peay. And, I believe our kicker, Mike Cawood, went to Georgetown College in Kentucky; but I am not 100% sure about that.
  10. Did Wilson County leadership come from Cumberland County? I know this is not really funny. But, what is going on here? Is this something we can expect to happen to other school systems?
  11. I had better clarify an earlier post. I played with Robert's older brother, Steve. But, Robert was very good as well.
  12. Yes, he did. Touche'. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. Well, okay, maybe so. But, Matthews could run. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  14. I played with Matthews, not even close. But, if you saw what I saw against FC, we have a 1-2 punch that may be better. Before the season is over, I think that 1-2 punch will be used often.
  15. Come on folks. Lets give FC a little bit of break here. They can't help it they were a part of Alabama once. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  16. What if its just a head above? If they are even, then okay. I will give that much. But "better" still means better doesn't it? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  17. I am from the old school and it just turns me upside down when people say "He is talented but won't play much because he is a sophomore or a freshman." Since when did being an underclassman mean you get less playing time than upperclassmen, even if the underclassman is more talented. Now, I know that not all coaches see it this way, i.e. Smyrna started 2 freshmen last year and were 5A state champs. But, this does seem to be an issue with a lot of schools. /excl.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":excl:" border="0" alt="excl.gif" />
  18. The A-11 does have five ineligible receivers. Even though their numbers are eligible, it does not mean that the player is. It depends on where they line up & who is lined up against them. Same goes for some plays when the tight-end is not eligible in more conventional formations. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  19. That's okay. I don't know how to ride a horse anyway. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  20. Since Wildcat country is in Big Orange country, it all goes together. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  21. When I first saw it in the Lincoln Co. game, I was confused like most people. But I was overhearing a coach in stands explaining who was eligible & ineligible and why. Then it became clear and I was able to follow each play. If I can now understand it, why can't the officials recognize who is eligible or ineligible by where a player is lined up & who they are lined up against? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  22. How would a change in the scrimmage kick rule eliminate the A-11 offense? /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  23. THS school colors are Cardinal, Black, & White. Maroon is darker. The band wears black uniforms with cardinal trim. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  24. I agree. It kind of reminded me of Arkansas without the stripes on the pants. I'm nearly 40 years old & I have never seen Tullahoma go white on white. We started the Georgia look back when I was in high school & it seems to have stuck around. Maybe they will go cardinal on cardinal when Franklin County comes to town on Friday. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  25. Yeah, he is the one I was referring to. I even heard that another freshman QB transferred from there this year.
