HSSoccer: I agree.. I was at the game as well and their was not any trash talking that I noticed at either end of the field in either half. Many of the girls in this game have played travel together since they were young and even some Centennial girls came to watch their friends play. It was a hard fought game but at the end there were more hugs amoungst the players than anything else, which is how it should be. Global1 does not have a clue..

Not sure about the source of your statistics but I do believe that Franklin's record against ranked teams this year after the Riverdale game is 5-2-1. Riverdale is a good team but Franklin has stepped up their play significantly since the "give away" tie to Ravenwood (7-0-0).

More like Wow since their record appears to be 6-2-6 based on eurosports ranking. Doesn't matter anyway, you cannot get out their district with a tie..

Mjuhb: I agree with your rankings for this week with the exception of Ravenwood. 6 ties, many against non ranked teams, does not support a top 5 ranking. Your rankings attempt to reflect how the individual teams are playing for each week, similar to the AP, ESPN and USAToday polls for all of the other sports, which is how it should be. Teams will move up and down depending upon their play for that week, not based on whom they have beaten 3-4 weeks ago. Good job providing interesting information for debate. Keep it up!!

Can the school compete in "friendly" games at this point in the season with a TSSAA maximum of 18 scheduled games for a season. Does the TSSAA look only at games "scored" for record keeping purposes? Just curious... I have not heard of teams playing friendlies this late in the season.
