This is the final year of the town of Centerville useing East players who chose to stay, I think i heard a few more chose to go there and are juniors.but for the most part, It is over after this year. East has took thier lumps and if the coach can keep some dedicated players on the East Squad they should shine next year. Statistically they should beat Loretto, but I thought they would be in at least in a few games this year, loss of players hurt the team this year. About 5 kids who quit,as reported would of made a big difference on the team. Good luck......i hope they win.

Hickmans Middle School coach caused that pounding, I heard his smack talk from his players as well as the coach when they started 2-0 and East started 0-2 , the JV scored that last trick touchdown, dont get your feelings hurt cause they scored, is the JV not supposed to score? I hate East as much as you guys do ,and we will pound them as bad as we can Saturday. But it is obvious what has been predicted 2 years ago, is coming true. Hickman will be in East's and Loretto's shoes next year with the High School and the Middle School has already went down, The high school coach is a good coach, but they just dont have any upcoming atheletes, The middle school coach is a previous alumni who dont have a clue. Enjoy this last year while it last.

Well welcome Mr. first time poster, from reading this it appears you are a Coach of this team,or have very close ties . Thats nice to be defensive of your position, I was not at the game, but heard that it played out just as earlier posted. Nobody from your team has called in the stats to the Tennessean as all the other teams do, so the actual numbers are never known ? why is this? . I dont think any of your players Courage or Character was in question, it takes some real guts to get your heads kicked in each and every game and get back off the ground and do it again , then get dogged on all week in practice. Only to see skilled players drop out or get kicked off every week,because they just cant take it anymore. I really think there is some serious "ego" issues here, If you are concerned about a player being called out, there is strong facts circulating the coach( not all the coaches ,THE COACH) has now began to call out his few remaining players ,taking the frustrations of the outcome on his players, and shift the blame to some of the these kids. That is crossing the line, I think it is going to be addressed real soon. I am not from East, My team has suffered as well in the past .But it has never got to this low of a point. You cant make the fans happy with wins/losses but you can motivate and encourage your players and try to get the best from them. A different approach needs to be looked at. Again these are all opinions, no feelings are trying to be hurt, If your feelings are hurt....please dont post.

I hope the best for East and hope they win. Word is they are imploding, no leadership, players at each others throats, losing fire and spark, one dimensional. They need to pull together as a team, help each other, quit pointing fingers, and keep giving 100% . It all starts at the top.

I agree, for some reason our defense is not panning out to be as strong as I initially thought. We will hopefully fix a few things, and keep rolling.

No upset tonight.............. Hickman will pound Waverly as bad as they want to. Not taking anything away from Waverly they have a good team but cannot content with Hickman this year. JV will be in for Hickman by the half.

I will say East comes together tonight and beats Stewart County. East Hickman 21 Stewart County 6.

Amen Brother............. Fairview looked good finishing up the year, and beat a good Mt. pleasant team, but they will be outmatched in all areas when this game takes place friday. Fairview will give a good game at first but as the games goes on later, Hickman will eventually blow them out of the water.

AMEN.........getting beat, it can happen anytime. Alcoa is not unbeatable, And the this Hickman Bulldogs team is the best they ever had or will have. The whole season is ahead of them, to make the statement to the doubters riding on the coat tails of the traditional powerhouses. The bulldogs look much better than last year, the team is stacked with Seniors, I hope the best for them. Time will tell the tale......

Hickman will rule the roost this year. without any key injuries or suspensions, they will be contending in the boro.

Defense looked better than last year ,still need to be more intense and physical, still lots of little tiny guys as linebackers/corners. Quarterback? fumbles and interceptions wont get it, # 22 looked good , #88 has some wheels when he got loose, Offense was at negative yardage until BGA put in the JV. I hope they can pull a win this year. They looked overall better than last year. Anybody know why did all those kids quit ???????
