  1. I have to appoligize for going off earlier. But living through the "they are recruiting and that's the only way they're winning" era was agonizing. And the coaching staff really are a great group of people, Munford has always had a lack of talent but we tried to make do with what we have. Chargers is the Covington team. They were the county of rivals till B town Brighton came in the picture (B town ryhmes with itch town for those who are wondering). Again, sorry for the earlier comment.
  2. This crap has been going on for the past 2 years and I'm tired of hearing it. If Coach was recruiting, he would still be doing it now. Because I can tell you Darry Marshall would not care. However, the man brought over three players from Memphis with him. Now, I can promise you that recruiting is against TSSAA rules, right? So how come nothing was ever taken into action? I remember being at practice and having random people come try to get information. Heck, an official even came once, during practice. Now why hasn't he been fired? BECAUSE HE HASN'T BEEN RECRUITING, IDOITS! So, now you'll tell me that he knows people in high places and yada yada yada. Bullcrap! And no one really cares what you hate so you can keep that to yourself, sir. Because they are a great coaching staff. So tell me this, who were his recruits last year when we were region runner ups? Lacy, who everyone tried to call out, which I must was random because he was in my class in 7th grade and has been going to Munford every since. You people have nothing better to do with your lives besides condemning a GREAT (let me say that again) a GREAT coaching staff. He really can't help the players he receives so he works with what he has, and what he has this year are a bunch of babies (I'm trying to keep it G rated. haha) Now in saying that, I believe that Brighton will break the scoreboard on Munford. Unless they find some fire in their souls, they will get demolished. Good luck anyways.
  3. Munford disgusts me this year. As much as we built that program for the past two years, they do this mess to bring it down. I worked hard in this program to make it top of the region and now i hear that the players give up during half time because they're down....please. I guess they don't remember the Brighton game where we were down two touchdowns in the last 5 mins and came back to lose by a point (it's a lose.....but still). And it's unacceptable that you would even think of missing practice. Obviously, (and I hope some of my former teammates are reading this) you deserve to lose and be at the bottom. No work, no pain, no suffering....no victory. Go Vols.
  4. Munford always comes out of a hard loss to Millington, we always come off short on the team size, and we always come out small on player's size. Yet, for the past two years Coach Randle has shown what he is made of and what his team and coaching staff are made of. He tells his players what happens in the past stays in the past but just learn from your mistakes so the same thing won't happen in the future. I don't think that Munford will have a losing season, but like every season, everyone else will. Which the team will have to prove wrong just like in the past two seasons. Munford will always be looked down on because of our misfortunes, but we always seem to find a way to win. Hardin County is lookin for some payback from the past two seasons. Seeing how we beat them at their own homecoming for the Region Championship in '07 and for last year for long bus ride home. Hardin will bring everything and Munford will have to bring more. With the injuries of a few players, some young boys are going to have to become men during the week. And who else to help make that transformation than Coach Randle. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I doubt that coach would actually do somethin like that. Now i get that it may not be the trojans, heck it could of been Brighton. I mean they did spell trojans, trogans. And that sounds like some Brighton education right there. So it might not have been someone form Millington. But I highly doubt Coach Randle would do it.
  6. So I was just informed about the actions of the Millington Trojans. And wow do they have class. Coming into Munford and spray painting the cougar that I helped raise money for. And painting the windows and the Cougar that I painted on the ground. Real classy. I hope munford beats the mess out them tomorrow. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. That is a struggle, seeing how Norhside was blown-out even when Ryan was coaching. Now unless NS has gotten better, Munford needs to buckle down and concentrate hard on this game. Millington isn't a joke. But like I said before, Munford has a huge amount of supporters at home. In Ryan's last year I think we were either a point or a touchdown away from beating them. I have faith in the cougars for being able to win. I just look forward to seeing them put their all on the field. Because if not, they're sure not to win. But I'll be routing you on anyway you go. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I agree. Last year cougars broke a school record on Norhtside and the next week got murdered. Even though Millington doesn't have a "warm-up" game doesn't necessarily mean that that is an advantage for the cougars. The young team needs to keep their mind focus and not live off the hype that others provide as in last year games. Although, Munford is a proud community and it's fans support the team very well. So it is always hard for another team to come in and whoop on them. Haha. I mean they're not The Swamp, Death Valley, or UT, but there is a whole bunch of school spirit going around out there. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. As a former member of the cougar football team under Coach Randall and his staff, I know that Munford can pull off anything. The mental strength that these young men have gives them the heart to upset anyone. As in last years performance against Brighton. Even though we lost, the players put their all on the field. But we won't get into that because I still don't agree with some calls made. However, that's just the way the game is played. All I'm saying is that Coach Randall and his staff prepare the heck out of the team. Now even though all the starting lineman except for one are gone, these coaches know how to make little boys into men throughout the summer. And yes the loss of Purty and Dale also made an impact on the team. But as it has been for the past two years, everyone looks for Munford to fail and they come right out on the top. So, good luck Munford. Surprise everyone and come out on top. Put your all on the field and feel good about yourself at night. Thinking, "I'm tired, sore, and beat up, but I put my all on that field." No regrets baby, no regets. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
