In all honesty i believe that this game will quickly become souths ball game, especially since its at the valley. If south wins tonight it will be the 3rd regular season in a row at home undefeated. I believe the last regular season loss was in 05 when they lost to DB and that was a 1 pt. ball game. That something to be proud of. I don't see the south boys letting up. BIG WIN South by at least 3 touchdowns.

If you play for south, the whole week of preperation for Johnson county you will hear "Johnson County has a lot of heart." South doesn't take JC lightly. We know they hit hard and are a respectable program. But all in all i think south is going to win big. Last year in the paper JC talked about how they were going to win and how their running back said he was going to run all over south. South was not intimidated to the least bit and came out ready to play and won the game in the 1st half. South wins big.

I'm going to have to change my statement. . . . . Look at last years seniors. There are only a couple of starters that didn't start until their senior year: Hopkins, Harless, and Acero (which didn't even play his soph or junior year) How many seniors on this years starting line-up didn't start last year? 2? 3? My point is that its pretty common to start before your senior year.

What are you talking about? Chances are if you go to any college you probably aren't gonna be working for the highway dept. Of course you would rather go to an ivy league school but if you want to compare colleges for academics i would rather send my kid to a private school like Carson Newman, Tusculum, and even Emory & Henry rather then a big D I school like UT or WVU. I can guarantee you that you won't be working for the highway dept if you go to one of these schools. But all in all its his decision where he wants to go.

I realize that it is rare for players not to start until their senior year. The reason i brought it up was because i think if he would have started somewhere else he would have improved significantly year after year. I know he has improved through practice and the 2nd half of games throughout the past 2 years but that is a whole lot different than starting. I also agree by the end of the season he will be a force to be reckoned with and by then we will really be able to give our opinions on where he will go.

I really don't understand how cap "dis'd" bradley. . . . . . . He (a long with several other people) is just in disbelief that he is getting those kinds of looks. Cap said he is possibly the best QB in the conference? How is that "dis'ing" a kid? Most of kids don't have the ability to make it to the next level whether it be D I, II, or III. Only 5.7% of the high school football players go on to play college football at any level. He is special just to be apart of that elite group. I'm sorry that you aren't satisfied if he doesn't get a D I scholarship. I mean college is college. If a kid is getting looked at by anyone that is a awesome no matter where he is going. I mean if you don't like the fact that he probably won't play at WVU or VT then you are being ridiculous. I know the kid is an excelent athlete and an excelent person, but he has only started 3 games in his high school career. That isn't his fault either that an excelent QB was starting over him because bradley would have started anywhere in the area. If he would have played elsewhere and started for 2-3 years than yes i would believe that he is getting looked at by those schools, but in my opinion, i just don't see it happening.

Pre-season i went to watch Jeff County scrimmage Sullivan South. I was not impressed with jeff county at all. I believe DB will win way big in this one.

I think south will come ready to play this week. Minimal mistakes and penalties. I'm calling a big win just like last year. It will be over by halftime.

I have no idea what a "predition" is but my prediction is Betsy wins big.

HAHA that was an excellent burn. . . . . Well in my opinion the game tonight was EXTREMELY sloppy for both teams. Turnovers killed both teams. South just capitalized on Greenville's mistakes and Greenville didn't capitalize on South's mistakes. Once again i was highly disappointed with South's defense (passing and rushing) and i was disappointed with the offense until the second qt. rolled around and there was some life in the boys. All in all if we play like that vs. TH or Betsy or even East for that matter then you can expect to see a for sure loss. SOUTH 3-0 Hopefully they'll keep the streak alive.

I totally agree with you Cap. I know that Bradley is an excellent athlete but VT? WV? He has started 2 GAMES. How do you get looked at if you haven't even played that much? Yes he did play QB a little bit last year but it was usually around the 2 half when South was up by 30+. I just don't understand how he is getting those kinds of looks.

The key to this game is Greenville stopping South's explosive offense. I don't see it happening though . . . . Fletcher carried the ball 4 times last night for 157. He could of had 500 yds rushing if he wanted to.

I have been really impressed with DB this year. They are exceptionally strong and should go far this year. I expect the tribe to roll. GOOD LUCK INDIANS Go South!

I doubt it. . . . . but then again South had trouble last night with Unicoi County's passing game. If they had trouble with big nasty Unicoi County's passing game then Greenville is going to throw all day on South. But i just don't see Greenville coming out with a win in the valley.

Great win tonight!!! Our prays go out to Zach Ervin. Bradley and Taylor looked great. I feel our secondary is lacking this year. We were burnt several times on the quick slant. I guarantee you that there are gonna be faster WR and better QB's than what big nasty Unicoi County has to offer. They have to get that situation taken care of or Greenville will throw the ball all over them. This is the first time in 3 years South has scored first on Unicoi County. Ellis broke the school record for longest fumble recovery.

I guess they are all napping. . . . . . Unicoi has given south a scare in the first quarter the past 2 years. they better not come to this game asleep.

I agree. That is a lot to ask of a kid. Fletcher gives it all every play on both sides of the ball. If he goes both ways throughout the rest of the season, an injury is likely to occur.
