Any word as to if Daniel is on the way out?

How long can you be this bad and not have a coaching change? Honestly it's ridiculous. It's embarrassing for the kids, the school, and the community.

The kids are there. Walk up and down the halls of the school plenty of good athletes walking around. It's just there is no want to. No one wants to play for the laughing stock of the state. And that starts with coach. You have to make the kids believe you can win. No one in that school or the town of Woodbury believes Tj can win. I can remember the 3 years Barger was there, he had 40+ kids all 3 years he was there. He changed the culture from the "same old cannon county." Well they have fallen back to that point. And I believe this maybe the worst it's ever been over a period of time. Until you get someone in there who the kids believe in and show some progression, you're just going to be having the same conversation. It wouldn't surprise me if there is no football team at cannon county in the next 5-10 years if something don't change.

Cannon will never be relevant with Daniels as the coach. Money is the only reason he is still there, or even hired for that matter. I know for a fact there was a better applicant when he was hired. But the principal there Mr. Jones went with the money. Daddy got that job for T.J. And everyone in cannon county knows it.

Ok I have been around cc athletics for a long time. Been through the ups and downs. Definitely mores downs. But down doesn't even describe where it's at right now. No kid wants to play on that kind of team. It's just miserable for the kids. Schrenk has had one good year in his career. Thanks to the coaches around him. Now that he has brought in his own staff of "daddy coaches" it's showing what kind of coach he is. Coach Knox knows whats going on. Everyone does. Schrenk was going to supposedly be using cc as a step into rutherford county. Ha good luck with being the water boy on that one. They need to bring someone in that the kids respond too. Not to be their best friend. But to be a father figure. To help you up when your down instead of kicking you while your down . Cc has a long ways to go to get back to being respectable as to how Barger and Bartsch had it. The first step is getting rid of the circus show of a coaching staff and start from the ground up.

well first off duggin needs all the help he can get. lol. but the shrenk is gonna have to work for it this year. lost alot of talent and senior leadership..its thee start of an uphill climb for cc. they have some talent. but not quite what they have had in years past. they cant take anything for granite this year. there are no gimmee games this year for them i dont believe

i personally want able to make it to the game friday. but will be there on friday. cc needs to be physical..i know 5 and 40 can be very physical. dont forget what you guys have learned in years past. take what you have learned and soak it in and go out there and knock heads. if you want to be successful you have to go out there and strike them in the mouth. you cant be soft and esxpect to win.

well if thats true whether or not it came from hapeth. and one of the players just confirmed it with me that its true. he got the box of wheaties. no matter where it came from. its still goin to light a fire in him. as if he needed any help!!

i would hope no one sent that to #34. he needs no more motivation. the kid is a head hunter to begin with. if this is true, i feel sorry for whoever comes across the middle.

I am super excited about this game friday!!! The lions are district champs. But thats over with now. Now we have to focus on the play-offs. They cant dwell on the fact that they won the district. The boys need to keep their heads on straight and focus on the task ahead of them friday night!! I realize the lions dont have alot of post season experience. The most success they have had was 2 years ago with goin to a bowl game. But this is the real deal with being in the play-offs. But i dont see the lions being any different this week. The coaching staff will have them prepared. Berni willhave the boys rockin on defense and ready to hit someone. I think another factor may be the field. Its a mess. And no way to fix it really. So if its dry, it'll be like playing on dirt..lol. I dont know much about harpeth, so im not going to say we're are goin run over them or nothin..but i'll be there in support of the lions!!!!!

i talked to one of the assistant coaches today and we couldnt figure out why the game was moved. but o well, it dont matter if they play thursday or friday, i dont see a different outcome. lions should win this one easily. but they must keep there heads on straight and not overlook the bee's. cuz then they are liable to sting you. but i dont see it happening...lions 34-13

I agree the Lions fans were very loud and proud tonight and the SC fans as normal sat on hands and did not respond. But I will say I think we witnessed the two best QBs in the league tonight with the edge going to #7 from Cannon the run in the first half was one of the best I have seen this season. Did he play last year? yes he played last year. he played some receiver last season, but broke a bone in his leg that set him back a little. but has turned into a nice qb in his junior year. the kid has a good future. he;s pretty athletic

i wasnt there to see the game but i heard the owls jumped up 10-0 and after that it was all lions. congrats to all the lions. wish i could have been there. they beat a team that no cc team has come close to beating in a long time!! super excited about this. now we got one more next week eith upperman.gotta take care of business there and then prepare for the play offs. wow havent been able to say that in a while!! cant look too far ahead though. got to take next week serious and keep their heads on straight...but the boys need to celebrate tonight!! knocked off a good team....GO LIONS!!!!

the lions have very much suprised me this year!! who would have thought we'd even have a chance for play off after the spring hill game. im very excited about the game friday and lets hope its messy. york came expectin to win and it was messy and cc came out on top. the defense is very good!! lets hope for a good one friday!!! GO LIONS!!!

im hopin to see a good game on friday. the boys from cc need to keep their heads straight and not get wrapped in homecoming events. there is a game to be played tomorrow...a BIG one. They dont need to come in thinkin this is going to be easy because its not. we're goin to have to play 48 minutes. we dont need to fall behind early. you cant play catch up every week. got to get started early and not let up. the defense is goin to be rockon tomorrow night as it always is. coach bernie will have them ready....GO LIONS!!!!

THey may not.but thats why you play the game. if we went off of what typically happens heck CC shoulda gave up football a long time ago. but they havent and stuff has started to change for CC in the past few years, and no one wants to give the Lions any credit for it.

not so fast my friend. The boys from cannon will come out firing on all cylinders. o and not to mention cannon took care of white county easily in the pre season. im gonna go with the lions to come out on top in this one 34-21

This game will by no means be a blowout. Its going to be wet and nasty. So that means bothteams will have to run the football more. So cannon's offense will have to step up and take opportunities when they are available. Cant blow nothing. Thedefense will keep this one close. The offense will just have to do their part and score. Should be a fun one to watch.....GO LIONS!!!

Thoughts and predictions on this one...

wasnt able to make it o the game saturday. I heard it went well though. Which is great. The lions have had a good pre season. Now lets hope it carrys over to the regular season. It starts next week. Going to have to just take it one game at a time. And hope the injury bug dont bite us. We cant afford to lose anyone this year. Depth is probably the biggest problem as of now..

From what i've seen so far the qb dont stay in the pocket the whole time. Plus 12 will make better decisions than 7. he always stays calm, 7 shows a little more emotion. Need some1 who can keep their cool and keep everything straight in the huddle at qb. And 7 does a good job where he is. No need for change right now

Andrew Woodin is the qb...#12. And i believe they got him and #7 right where they need to be. Lee has good hands and needs to be split out. And wildcat as far as them knocking basketball, I dont think they meant district wins. Im going to guess they were referrring to district titles.
