Can i get some feedback on some wrestling camps that are both affordable and close to middle tennessee? Looking for something to send my team to. Any help would be appreciated.

We need to increase the availability of matches for our reserves. many refs I have seen here in TN will only ref 4 jv matches. We need more jv tournament opportunities as well. When I came to Tn I was looking for JV tournament opportunities and when I couldnt find many I had one of my own. When I was in MI my JV wrestled in 7 tournaments through out the season and almost had as many matches as the varsity. i think this keeps the kids around and has more kids coming out because they get the chance to compete. I believe if there are more opportunities for the kids to compete and you start a feeder program then the programs will grow.

I would like to thank the Teams and Coaches who participated. Over 100 kids wrestled and got 4 to 5 matches in. As I am without my score book I can only tell who won and lost Mt juliet won against : freindship christian, lebanon and wilson central Wilson central won against lebanon and freindship lebanon over friendship Mt juliet looked tough- very solid line up.

North east (clarksville) 41 Wilson Central 40 Wilson Central 40 Hunters Lane 27 * Elijah Baird Pinned Quintin Robinson in the best match of the night. Winning by 8 and pinned at end of third period. Hunters lane hurt by voids but well coached and tough kids. 140 is a very good wrestler.

Bodyfat testing is suppose to start around 7 am and wrestling is suppose to start at around 9 am. I don'y know when they are starting skin check.

I thought the tournament ran fine once it got going. I thought Blackman and Independence both looked tough.
