Thats ridiculous. $11 And I feel of CC combined they could be a force in 4a. Not at EHS/Greeneville level but definitely a solid #3 or #4 team

Unaka, Hampton and Happy Valley are the 3 cc schools you could conceivably combine

It was a contentious game. But picking up WR and TN high to replace Boone and MO West wouldn't be a bad decision imo. Both closer games geographically and both bring out big crowds.

Didn't TN high drop us? We used to play them annually

West ridge could drop volunteer and pick up Elizabethton. That'd be a better matchup

Nope. I said vs DB that I could see a losing season for WR. They looked good against 2 really bad teams.

I still don't see anyone beating Greeneville in 4a

The last time I saw it was when North ran it back when we were in the same conference. But I haven't seen it since.

Not just that but he's active in his church and community so I don't see him going anywhere for a while.

I've always wondered why EHS isn't on the schedule. Once the merger happened we lost South and Central.

I know there's a 2nd half to play but I go back to my post a few pages back. WR looked good against bad teams but they would be outclassed. Their best chance was this year but DB is still DB and WR doesn't have the athletes to compete. WR could turn a losing season this year.

EHS might hang 60+

Even as an elizabethton fan who normally pulls for DB to lose I have to give it to DB. WR just doesn't have that much outside of QB and Boone and Volunteer aren't games to scout WR. But last year EHS was supposed to handle DB but we barely escaped. So unless WR has some secret weapons they didn't show in the last 2 games DB on athletes and numbers alone should pull out a win. A close one but still a W

This year might be the best chance WR has to beat DB..but I've seen both play and DB even with the bad coaching has the athletes to win this game. I was at a taco bell and a lot of wr players were in there acting like world beaters so they might roll in overconfident

Exactly. If it's small ball then how many titles have the 5a and 6a schools in our area gotten?

You give Greeneville and Elizabethton the size and resources of a 6a school and they will both be contending for a championship. They got some of the best programs and staffs in the State regardless of class size

Maybe. I thought we would steamroll DB last year but we had more turnovers than arbys and barely squeezed by. And our team was considerably stronger than this year

Our JV is keeping it close with SH so the future could be promising. Might have to punt this year and focus on the upcoming groups as I agree. I can see us losing to DB and Greeneville as well. Possibly an upset somewhere.

Science hill big plays came from their transfer players. #6/#87/#18 I believe. Jury is still out on what the rest of them could do. EHS couldn't tackle for crap but we did move the ball on them in the run game so that might be an area of weakness for SH. We didn't really rest them with our passing

Stop #6 and you should be good. He ran all over us.

I think we could have kept it closer if we kept running. We were having success with 40. Besides our bad tackling I noticed our team looks smaller(height weight) or maybe SH just had much bigger athletes.

They're shedding too many of our tackles so I'm hoping it's just because they are big athletes and not us not making sure tackles.

I wouldn't say we got out coached. Our guys weren't making the tackles when it counts. QB overthrowing a few potential TD passes. SH has some big athletes. They could have just given it to #6 all night and we wouldn't be able to take him down.

Mixture of both. SH has some giant athletes but EHS offense has been lackluster. Our defense has been decent but we can't break a bug run or complete a big pass
