Just doesn't seem fair to me. Either they should be allowed to play in 8th grade for the school district they are in or they shouldn't be allowed to play. Makes absolutely no sense that because they are on one campus it is ok. I have been around quite a few 8th graders that could have played on high school teams. Not to take away from those that have the ability and are doing it but it still doesn't seem fair.
Eastnref, I believe I noted at the beginning of the year under a different screen name that Catholic would have a very young team (2 Seniors and 1 Junior on the team) and someone would have a chance to knock them off. They did pick up a pretty good Freshman class to go with a good Sophomore class so they should have a good team for the next few years (but will be tough in AAA). Seymour has had a good team the last few years so I think they deserved the opportunity to move on. Congratulations! It sounds from the paper like it was a good game...any commentary?
Also, if Knox Catholic tied Shelbyville and won on PK's, why is Shelbyville ranked 16th in overall and Knox Catholic not ranked at all in the overall category? It's something to talk about but still just a poll by someone who has stated that he doesn't know all!
I saw them play in the jamboree and was very impressed with their young talent. I was surprised to see the turnaround in the Karns game (not that Karns doesn't have a good team because I thought they looked pretty good at the jamboree as well). The school dance and key injuries does help explain 4 straight goals! I hope the injured girls are doing well.
