My thoughts on wrestling is it is very beneficial for all interior positions on the field but I personally like soccer for db's and receivers for the shoulder to shoulder runs down the field as well as learning balance and speed.

How do you get more players?As stated by our own coaches wins fix everything.A lot of truth in that statement,so the next question is how do you get the wins?I do like some of the changes that were made this year but our number of players was low so not as much talent to chooe from.Hard to get motivated to play for a team going 1 and 19 over the past two years.How would you fix it?

Been reading several post concearning whats wrong with Halls.Maybey a combination of things.Imo it does start with coaching.I think more players should be involved because sometimes you just may find hidden tallent for example,Wesley Kitts was one of our best backs but if not for an unfotunate accident to another back,he was not our starter.We have had seniors who didn't get in on senior night.We had a kid with two long kick off returns one week to be taken off the retun team the next week.One parent pitched a fit over a db position and the next week his son started.Rule of thumb is dont outshine the picks or you will be replaced.Players know this so where is their incentive?Give the coach credit for making some changes this year but Imo too little too late.Players disheartend,parents and community dissheartend,looks to me to be time for change.Need to bring someone in,not from around here,to bring new fire to our program which will get our numbers back up which in turn gets our tallent pool up and in turn the program should be on the upswing.

I wish I could answer some of your questions on who is playing where but there is a lot of competition on the field.Good players at QB,RB,and receivers.Fitzpatrick was still in track during the Red White game.I think we are in a passing league this year so mabey someone can give us a better insight after that has been going on.We have several linebackers,tough to call.Some of the DB's will probably be 10,3,13,37.Big Zack and McFalls should be factors on the line.Should see some young players get some time on the line as well as some situational players.It's hard to say much till we get a few good scrimmages unde our belt.I hope they do well this year.Zcar usually has some really good input on our team.He's right on with one of his previous post in talking about a run pass balance.Pass opens up the run and runs open up the pass.Ironman80 usually gives a good take on the team,hope he gives us his thoughhts.This is just what I think being so earley in the season.

Hallsneedsit,I am very proud that you answerd in such a way that we can understand your point of view.Your thoughts are correct in saying I must have a kid envolved but only in two sports.I also watch and support several other sports at our school.As far as hidding behind a screen name,I'm not saying anything on here that I wouldn't tell you in person.I personally would like to know why you would have the oppinion that if someone donates time or money then their kid is rewarded with playing time? I can name several workers and donors in past and present that had kids who didn't get playing time.This being a football thread,I can assure you if you watch much of our practice through the years you would have to admit that Kevin puts the best eleven on the field.Just from your screen name though,I can see your glass is half empty.Just exactley what do you think Halls needs?

Hallsneedsit,I might be able to help you out a little.I attended a hoop's club meeting for basketball and the room was full.I attended a soccer team meeting,all parents were present.On the first Teusday of the month at 6:30,we have stadium club meetings.You are more than welcome to come.It's been a long time since we have had ten or more people to attend.Mabey that's why you see five or six people doing everything.Without this core group,we probably would'nt have our fieldhouse and what would the rest of the place look like?This club is open to the entire area with a cost of only five dollars to join.If you just want to sit in or help out it cost nothing but time.Since your girl dont play,then you won't be accused of working for her playing time.While your thinking about this,tell us what you have done for our program!

Other than ZCAR,it sounds like we want to give up.Is that what we want as fans? The player's are doing exactly what they are told.The receiver's are running good routes.Did anyone notice how many chances we had for open slants?Point is,each person has to do their job to have a succesful play.The loop is taught to the backs.The QB does not always have reads he is told exactley who to throw to no matter if someone else is open.Don't always blame the boy's.Bugman as well as one in the past called Bringitback should be real proud that they can hide behind a fake name and talk about high school kids.As far as personell changes.I don't think this is a good time to start changing people around.It's time,if not past time to smooth out as well as execute the play's we have in now.Change everyone around and your asking for trouble.Let's all get behind our TEAM this week and focus on one week at a time till playoffs.I'm going against the popular choice to say Hall's 28 Clinton14.

Just a quick reply to Ironman80. I was also wandering why we went away from the run? Looked to me like we were moving the ball.I would like to see some more players step up into leadership roles. # 23 Waggoner & # 4 Turner as well as # 62 Leanord & # 32 Hodge are showing signs of being our leaders. Don't get me wrong we have good young players too but players tend to look towards seniors. Speaking of # 37 & # 10 it is good to see #10 Gresham back. I was kind of surprised to see # 37 Bright not on defense after leading the team in tackles going into the West game. I hope we get our ship righted because I feel like it is gut check time. After this Friday against Bearden we are in must win situations.

I.ll give my thought,s for the week.First off,I do think our offense has a good front line,but we need some work on pass blocking.I really have not seen our QB get much time to deliver the ball.I agree that #23 Waggoner is our most durable all purpose back.As for the one wandering about#37Bright being on the field,mabey you should check your stats,he leads the team in tackles.Asfar as the Gibbs game,I feel we will come out on top but our boy's need to go ready to play.We need to open strong,work some on our passing game,then get some time for some more players.

I am going to agree with one thing,we do have a lot of injuries at Hall's but we still have quality players on the field.We need to trust some of these guy's and play ball.After we began rotating in fresh players against S.C.,you could see a huge difference due to fresh legs and desire to play.I guess to sum it up,don't cry about what we dont have and use what we do.Hall's finds it's heart this week and wins by 7.
