The thought of there not being a greeneville vs. West game just makes me sick to my stomach. Kids on the Greeneville side mark that game every year. I dont know bout the West side but i would say they mark that game also.

Greeneville win either way. Volunteer has never beat Greeneville and it wont happen this year either. As a former player the bus ride to volunteer is the worst just to throw that in there. Devils by however many points they want it by. Could get ugly if G-Ville is hitting on all cylinders

Yeah i agree with you, just because you get a letter in the mail with a questionaire in it doesn't mean anything and a camp invite doesn't mean anything. That means your high school head coach told some college coaches that he thought you could possibly be a player at the next level. When a player sends in film and a coach comes to watch you after the film, that is when you are getting looked at seriously

I don't know much about the west player, but somebody said he was starting at bama so thats cool. The one from East that went to Ut either quit or didnt make it. I played against him and talked to him at some camps, but i can't remember his name

I have a cousin around the athens area of georgia. The football is a different game down there. They have alot more players that recieve big rides. Can anybody name somebody besides Phillips that has had a D1 ride out of the MLC or Five Rivers in the last five years

I agree with barb here. I saw alot more drops and incompletes than i saw cathes against boone. Greenway is a player and thats how we won. The performance of the o-line last week was not where it needed to be. Bentley is working them hard and none of them are stepping up. Hernandez has to be the leader there. Penton is the only other lineman that has had varsity experiance and that was one game. Nease played at south greene which is not the same football. We can't pass all year. The o-line has to start blasting holes for the backs. Greenway is the best player on the field most of the time, but the game is won up front

In my six years i have never seen Boone do anything but try to pound the football on the ground and they been pretty successful at it. Does anybody know how there defense and pass attack are?

I can guarantee one thing Friday night and that is that coach McCurry will have this defense turned around. They are very young but coach Mac will have them fired up and ready to go
