I agree I like to see how the team is after the first real game. Scrimmages and the Jamboree really don't show to much working guys in and out. But should be a good game just hoping both teams come out without any injuries.

Man this thread is pretty quite. What is it? Is everyone thinking a blow out or something? I for one think its going to be a great game very curious to see how Polk's defense holds up to Bradley's passing attack. Polk should be able to move the ball and control the clock which will be important in this game. Good luck to both teams and hope for an injury free game. Can't wait for Friday night.

Well fellas I haven't been on here as much as I usually am having twin baby boys takes some time up. But looking forward to this upcoming season for Polk the o line looks to be improved from last season Silas has gotten comfortable at Qb and of coarse got that stud at fullback in Miller. Should be a fun year and some hard hitting football as always with Polk. Opening up with Bradley will be tough good team to start with. Coach Davis and staff do a great job at getting the best out of what they have and instill that heart and pride Polk is known for. Well got some babies to tend to. Ready for the season to get here. Go Polk

Polk should be fine. Miller will get his yards and Davis and Staff will have the Wildcats ready to go come opening night.

Thanks Piratetom makes me feel a little easier knowing that its not something that uncommon. Glad to hear you're little one is doing good and healthy. Mine and my wife's are doing good our little one Hunter has no breathing assist tubes and Hayden they found that he has a vessel thats suppose to close a few days after birth but hasn't so they are going to gice him medicine that could close the vessel but if that doesn't work he has to have a little surgery just to pinch that vessel off nothing to mjaor. Don't get me wrong anytime they do surgery it's a serious deal but his surgery isn't really a heart surgery if he has to have it. It's just a vessel going to the heart that needs to be closed off. Once we get that fixed with him then they said his breathing will improve big time so hoping the medicine gets the vessel close. Sorry I just rambled on lol but thanks again the all the prayers. Thanks guys means a lot. they are doing good just keep praying that they keep improving. I'm glad we all can come together I know we get carried away talking about our team and its all in fun. Well this is a little off the subject but me and my wife just welcomed twin boys into the world on thursday. We could use some prayers they was born at 33 weeks so they got to be in the NICU for a little bit since their lungs aren't fully developed but they are doing good. I hope Coach Davis sticks around so he can coach my boys like he did me and my brother. Their names are Hayden and Hunter thats CoachT world. Sorry for any spelling errors just really tired lol.

I was impressed with how he runs the ball since every team Polk playd lined up to stop him and he still got his yards and carried Polk with 8 to 9 in the box. Great hard nose player but an even better young man. Hoping for aanother big year from him in 2013.

I agree with you and would support Polk having a wrestling program. I don't know why we don't have one and also think it would help the football team out.

If you guys do take Davis from us when my twin boys get to high school I'm moving to SP lol. Coach Davis was a big part of my high school life and I was a freshman his first year and after I graduated starting running the chains for him. I hope there is no truth to this because he is a great coach for the lack of talent level he has to deal with here at Polk and still finds a way to win games. IMO I think his best team was my little brother's team which was with Allen and Hargrove that was a great group. But besides coaching he cares about his players and instills repects and discipline. Like I said I hope this is all rumors.

Sorry to hear Grider resigned. Also thatit has taken me a while to get on here the ole computer had to get repaired. This coming from a Polk fan I repect SP and Grider hope you guys fine a great replacement going to be hard to do that. good luck to you guys on the search.

I'm also glad we are still playing SP again that has to my favorite game of the season since Copper Basin is to scared to play us. Polk fans have respect for the Pirates and coaching staff. Not taking anything away from Kingston they came in better prepared and just down right out played Polk. I support the Wildcats but they was out played for sure that night and having all what we had out do to illness didn't help. But I will be making the trip up to watch this game also not picking a team because I repsect both teams and love to see them play hope to see a few people when I make the trip to Alcoa friday.

I would agree with you on Miller he had a great year and carried the Wildcats this season only game he didn't get a 100 yards was the first game against Bradley and he had 97 yards that game. But High from CAK is a special kid also

Hoping you guys have a safe trip down to Benton friday night. Polk has some injuries as well lacking in size this year to years past and we are a young team also. Should be a fun game to watch. Does Kingsston pass, pound the ball or a balace attack just curious?

Polk played Bradley Signal Mtn and Sout pitt out of district no cream puffs there. All was close games

Whats the thoughts on this game. Hooping Polk has healed up and Miller is ready to carry the load.

Final 40 to 20 Polk. The 20 points scored was scored on backups. Hopefully everyone gets healed up and ready for the first round. If I understand the way it is set up this year Polk has the number 2 seed.
