Sad day in Polk. I knew it was coming but didn't want to believe it. Whoever gets Derrick will get a heck of a coach. For what he did at Polk is pretty amazing given the talent he had. He will be missed for sure.

Also meant to post Charger that I know a few of the assistant don't want it. It's nothing with the program it's higher up. If anyone on the staff takes it I believe the OC Brewer would and he would be a good fit.

Hate to see him go was a great coach was a freshman his first year and after I graduated I started running the chains for him. Like I said great coach and even better friend. I have the out most respect for Derrick he is definitely going to be missed. Polk is heading in a rough patch I fear.

I know one that would be a good one for Cleveland if what I'm hearing is true

Hearing rumors of one that is probably resigning next week. If so Cleveland would be smart to go after him. Can't say who yet but it's looking like he is for sure going to resign

If Polk plays like they did against Meigs without the turnovers they will be tough to handle.

3 to 4 starters. I think one just got a little banged up.

Be interesting to see Polk is banged up right now. Coach Davis will be prepared just depends on how the Young guns respond to being moved into a starting role.

Polk coming off a tough lost where they shot themselves in the foot a few times how will they bounce back? Central coming off a tough game. I believe Polk will win this one but don't know by how much. Just been hearing Central is way down this year.

Tough one for my boys in Red tonight. Hats off to Tyner come playoff time they will be rolling.

I'm excited to see how we stack up against the Rams. Polk is very much improved and Tuner is always a tough opponent. And they are always well coached.

Man this should be a fun game to watch. Looking forward to a packed house and see how Polk stacks up against the Rams.

Final Polk 42 Basin 0. Polk didn't do anything fancy and looked good. Basin is down pretty bad. Running clock entie second half with the jv seeing a lot of time for Polk.

Polk has looked good in their scrimmages. Should be another decent year. Coach Davis is getting Polk back on the right track excited to see this team play this year. Haven't seen or heard much about Basin. Looking forward to next Friday night. Go Polk

Going to be a long night for my boys from Benton. Just overmatched tonight. Can tell Whitwell has that senior leadership

Stupid mistakes which have been fixed cost Polk the Tyner game. Be interested to see how the boys in Red look in this game.
