  1. Thanks..... I just hope and pray that everyone walks off the field in the end the same way they walk on..on both sides of the field. Speaking from experience, I dont think that there is anything in the world scarier than when one of your own is hurt. But, Peyt and McLin are doin great to listen to them talk. Good luck to all!
  2. 73 Your never to far away to be a contributor, but all the same, sure wish you were there tonight standing at the gate when the boys walk thru. When I talk to mine about the threads, the only posts he ever asks about are that of the "73choctaw qb". He says everyone is hyped and ready, so right now we are all just countin down til kickoff!!
  3. Not sure about the branches in Dyersburg, but I hear security bank in newbern will be selling them.
  4. Hey guys, I have been sittin back real quiet like, but sounds like to me "bigwooten" might just have a bad taste of crow in his mouth from somewhere! As far as DC kids,I dont think you will ever meet a better bunch of kids on or off the field. I'm sure they talk a little trash every now and then, but not half as much as what has been spewed out here today!! I have been doin alot of talking to my senior about stepping up a bit and trying to get the attitude back on the field. Hopefully they can all get it cranked up and show the tomcats whose house they are in tonight!
  5. I think last friday nights win was just what the needed to get them fired up and start feeling like they did going undefeated in the region last year. They got off to a rocky start, but they now have it in their minds that they can still pull off a perfect region. I know my adrenaline is already pumping. "LETS GO CHOCTAWS"
  6. I agree-I think defense did a killer job last week, but offensive line could have been a little tighter I know dye has not seen a lot of pressure, but I think things would've been a little different if he had a little more time from the line-Also Dr. cleared Peyton to return to the field for Fri night ,So "Pop" here is ready for a war with Covington.
  7. Thats why I wanted to make everything clear. And,whether or not peyton returns is not up to him,his parents,or the coaches. It all rests on the doctor feeling comfortable enough with peyts condition to let him return. However, whether it is peyton or dylan on the field, I hope last nights game can light a fire under these boys and realize that its time for everyone to tighten up and put up nothing but wins from here on out.
  8. Go easy on him brother...its hard to actually know what your talking about when you have nothing but bad info. He has probably never even been to a choctaw game except the one that fed him all the crow-and you sure cant go on whats in the gazette 'cause they dont have a clue either. So here is the real deal straight from the horses mouth. The Dr. is the one that is giving peyton the option to continue the season. Yes the acl is completely torn, but the kid has no pain. So, with the proper brace keeping the knee from buckling along with physical therapy and strengthening everyday he will come back as soon as the doc says he can. He was down and out cause he wanted to be in there so bad last night. Now, all you trash talkers keep saying whatever makes you feel better, but peyton is die hard choctaw and has the utmost confidence in each and every one of his coaches.
  9. Peyton is ready to go,but doc wants him to hang out against McNairy so he will be ready for conf. play.
