I would love to see Melrose and Gallatin at Orange mound I'm impressed with the Green wave's win over our Patriots but it would be one tough battle to go to Memphis and get a taste of a team that has been on the verge of a semi-finals win. Henry county had enough problem with this team in the past and the fan have always welcomed teams with open arms and good food. It time to send someone else to see what their made of to a good Memphis team. Our joke was always the time clock down there. The way that Melrose is playing that the last thing to worry about. We had a Great year here at Henry County. It time for us to reload and make another run at next year. Great Job to all 5A teams this year. Remember high school football is all about molding young boys into men and teaching them fair play,respect, and a part of something bigger than one's self. Thank You Coach T for letting us have fun on here. Keep each team and fan in all prayers and good luck to all in Tennessee high school football.

Every week from the stand we see the plays used against Henry County and every week it's a 10 to 15 yard Post Pattern. Tonight it was used again. This is the only play in the past games that has gain the most positive yards against Henry County. Some results were made in the past. Shore up that and it's lights out ball every week RED Pride is alive and well. This is not a put down of any thing were doing just one of those holes we see and drive you nuts. Great Job boys. Dead on. There is one thing to remember how many second halves of football Jay has played not a lot of kids would have been able to do what was done last night without good coaching at practice and understanding your roll on a team. Every player is one hit,fall, or even grade for a back up coming in. Great job last night and speedy recovery to Shonte. Fan relax and let the coaches use this as a way to show the young players their roles on the team and how important each member truly is.

He picked up another honor today as the Gatorade Tennessee Football Player of the Year. The statewide award is presented by Gatorade in a partnership with ESPN Rise Magazine. Teague along with the remainder of the HCHS football team will be recognized for the outstanding season Friday at Gamlin Gymnasium between basketball games when the Lady Patriots and Patriots host Jackson Central-Merry starting at 6 p.m. See today P I for photo. Last night their was a little less noise but you got to get the middle of the crowd fired up. Horns on the north side and duck calls and cowbells on the south end. Perk up the middle section all will be better. Roll on red one week at a time.
