We appreciate it BDS we hope you two can make it. I would imagine there will be a bunch of people there from other towns, what a big game. There is no doubt that Goodpasture has ruled our side of the bracket for years and like they say, to be the best, you have to beat the best. We all know about Goodpasture's tradition and how they have great success year in and year out. LC hopes to be considered on that level one day, and someone said it perfect earlier, it's statement time. We have all seen the youtube clips of Cunningham and know what he brings to the table. Slowing him down will be a major key to this game, obviously. This is a huge game in terms of where LC stands as a major contender to get to the 'boro. And it can be said, I guess, that GP played a tougher schedule, but it's time for the Panthers to prove all the detractors and neigh sayers wrong. Sometimes in football the team that plays the tougher schedule doesn't always win in the playoffs, sometimes its just the better team that wins. I think and hope that is us, but we will see Friday night!

I love how everybody thinks our pass defense is terrible, but two guys in our secondary have a combined 10+ INT"s.

What does #4 have to do with anything? I would like you to back that up please. I don't recall him doing anything in yall's game that would warrant you accusing him of a cheap shot.

Well good, I am glad that everyone is healthy on the Waverly side. No injuries to report on the Panthers' side either. Guess now we will just see who the better team is. Hopefully, there will be no injuries to report on either side Saturday morning either.

Just so you and I and everyone who reads this thread are on the same page......ALL your players are healthy this week? I just want to make sure so IF LC wins Friday night we will know that the Panthers beat your best. Right???

Well sure you had some guys out, but guess what - our starting qb - a kid that should be a mr. football candidate - didn't play past the second quarter due to an injury. The backup came in and did a good job for the Panthers and we won 37 to 0.

I hope he stays all week too, the Panthers will enjoy reading his work!

We don't care who you root for, better worry about an underrated Fairview team. And if we see any LC/Camden action it will be at Panther Statdium. Higher seed hosts the quarters.

Deal, and make no mistake - the Panthers know they ARE NOT playing the same Waverly team. Most of us in Hohenwald know the true story of the Camden game, we know the score is VERY deceaving and that you guys were just a drive away from tying Camden. Honestly, all this talk about the Panthers overlooking the Tigers is completely unfounded, they are focused and as I have said before, know since the Hickman Co. game last year that noone can be overlooked. It should be a good game, but if we do win, we will be glad to have you on our side!

I hate to ruin the fun and get back on the subject of the game boys but you asked about Wayne Co. and I figured I would enlighten you. LC played them in week 2 and they looked good then. They are pretty balanced. Their running back, #5, is a really good runner. He is fast and has really good vision. They also have a really good qb, I'm talking REALLY GOOD. If he keeps developing at the pace he is, he could be a D1 caliber guy. He has a rocket arm and is very accurate. We ran the ball on them pretty good, well really good actually, but our o-line is alot bigger than their d-lne. From reading yall's posts about MTCS, I would say the two teams are very similar. This should be a pretty good game.

Fairview will not be an easy win, not at all. They have some great athletes and are very physical on defense. Camden should win it, but it will be one of the best games in West Tn IMO.

Easy LCP, alot of those penalties were our fault - not all, but a lot of them. Good teams can lose close games by committing senseless penalties. And as far as a possible rematch, its not like last year where the two teams met in the second round. Both teams have A LOT of work to do before they can even begin to think of playing one another again. And if they do, I would expect it to be another close game - thats just the way rivalry games are. Let's just focus on Waverly - can't do anything unless we beat them.
