Watched the Beech vs Wilson Central game and just as I expected. Jalen Hurd is no Mark Dodson. I know everyone will disagree but as the playoffs get going and teams get tougher you will see.

WhiteStation has wins over Arlington and Hamilton this year. They had to forfeit against Ridgeway in week 0. They have lost to Whitehaven and CBHS.

Yes usually the second place finisher in that district usually is sent our way. This Tiger team is wierd. I think it has the potential of being just as good but once again we lost a lot of character guys that were on a mission to be great. Once we get out of our own way I think you will see us just as dominent as we were last year. To be continued??????

I think if Siegal wins out they go East. If so they will not come to us.We will be ready for whoever comes to us. I think we will excell on our new turf,its a very fast surface.

I feel that Whitehaven still has some bugs that need to be worked out. The win over Whitestation was very significant in regard to home field advantage throughout the playoffs. When the smoke clears I do believe that the Haven will be a major player in what goes on in 6A football this year. Overated or not if the Tigers win out. The teams from middle tennessee will have to make a trip to the Haven!!!!

Whitehaven started the game slow. Patrick Smith was picked off by Donald Grey and he nearly returned it for a TD but was pushed out at about the 17 yard line. Whitestation went on to score. to make it 7-0. Later in the first Whitestion would score again to make it 14-0. With about 3 min left in the half the score 14-0. Mark Dodson broke off an electrifying 80 yard run to cut the lead to 14-7 and that was the score at the half. We continued in the second half to shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties and bad field position, but the defense finally made some adjustments to slow down Cedric Wilson Jr.'s running up the middle. Late in the fourth quarter with about 7 and a half left, Mark Dodson broke lose again for about 45 yrd run TD tying the score at 14-14. The defense got a stop and the offense had the ball with an opportunity to win but we were bitten by the penalty bug again. Overtime was a trading of scores. Whitestation muffed the snap after a Rodney Saulsberry time out to ice the kicker and the rest is history. Whitehaven wins 31-30. Mark Dodson 27 carries for 291 yards and three touchdowns.

Well I'm a Whitehaven guy and I definately want pic against the owls at home. I think MUS by 13.

#23 is a junior who is extremely quick with break away speed. #22 is a 10th grader!!! and he is quicker than some would think. I know most of his runs are goaline short yardage situations but wait till he pops one then you will see. #40 is just an animal that we have been trying to get on the field for the past three years who has finally matured into a player.

We play Hamilton homecoming on Sept. 28. #6 is Rodrick Owens. He was the 2nd string running back last year who was hurt against Fairley and didn't play the rest of the year. #28 is Joshua McMillan a 10 grader. 6-3 244lbs sports a 4.3 grade point average. #3 Brandon Philips a transfer. He's a senior who is the son of the legendary Whitehaven LB Reginald Ingram (RIP) who played for the Tennessee Vollunteers. I'll see about you getting a roster.

I want to play on our pretty new field the whole playoffs. BEAT WHITESTATION!!! Respect the Haven!

Jake knew what he was talking about. Ridgeway scored exactly 34 points. Unfortunately Whitehaven scored 63 behind a 30 carry 380 yard 4 TD performance by Mr. Mark Dodson!! It was a very good game.
