Good to see some old faces Friday night. Having a front row seat for the Baylor vs. LaFayette match up was exciting. Coach Hill is working hard to mature a very young Heritage team by scheduling some tough competition. If they live through it all /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> and listen, they may learn a few things about High School wrestling. Look forward to the McCallie tournament this weekend. As always there will be some must see matches.

The Heritage program certainly appreciates all of the teams that attended our tournament. We had a diverse group from as far away as West Tennessee, Atlanta and many great local teams from NW Georgia and the Chattanooga area. Many of our kids have competed and trained with/against Chattanooga area kids at different times over the years and it is fun to see you all with your respective High School teams. The finals were worth the wait and exciting to watch. Our program is very young but well coached with hard working kids. Thanks again to everyone who participated and we look forward to the 2nd Annual Heritage Duals. We still have limited space available for those interested. This will be a good opportunity for a good JV tournament close to home.

If you are wrestling a NGAC Middle School during season, I think it is now: 72, 78, 86, 94, 100, 108, 115, 123, 130, 140, 150, 165, 180, 275. Current NGAC Middle Schools are: Heritage, Ringgold, Lakeview, Rossville, Gordon Lee, LaFayette, Chattanooga Valley, Dade.

We ended up with 84 kids registered and 11 from Tennessee. Thanks to those who are coming, we look forward to a good tournament. *Update* There is a UTC home match that evening vs. Davidson and Newberry. It is my understanding that the match times on that day have been changed to 6:00pm and 7:30pm. That works out perfect for a morning wrestling tournament for your kids, a nice dinner in downtown Chattanooga only minutes away in one of many great restaurants and a UTC Match that evening.
