HAHA, I guess I am a legend in Perry County, to be honest anyone from another place besides Perry County should be a legend in their eyes. I haven't had alot to post about this year but we have put up some good fights in the last two games. We should be 1-1, then again Perry should be 0-3. I don't care who they have when it comes down to business, Riverside always owns the scared little vikings. Last year I called it, Parsons rolled into town and spanked ya'll! So I will call it again this year, Parsons wins in good fashion, The D line accounts for about 5 sacks and the defense causes atleast 4 turnovers. Too weak in Perry Co. Riverside 42 Perry County 6 They might score against the Freshman team, then we'll bring in the big boys and block their extra point. I hope # 18 is scared, we're going to pound him into the ground, maybe he'll cry like last year and come out.LOL

Is the Perry County High School team going to be in the tournament? I would think it to be embarassing if they were to get in it and lose out... Plus Decatur County owns everything the Buffalo touches, if we brought our team we would kill ya'll.....I think we will look for better competetion.

The Cardinals are in for a suprise this week as the Riverside Panthers are coming off a good win from Perry County. I think Adamsville is too weak on defense, they will be ran all over this week. Riverside's defense stands tall and beats the sissy cardinals. RIverside 35 Adamsville 7

As the Vikings all lay nestled in bed, an Expert lies awake with thoughts in his head. How will this rivalry go, the thought of losing is so hard but, so well known. Some think the Vikings are up to the test, I think the Vikings will fall, and the boys on the river will still be the best. The Panthers of Riverside are ready for this game, no........... this is no riddle or ryhme, with less than 24 hours to go, it is almost game time. I have seen film, I have seen many weak spots for the Vikings. The line does not fire off the ball. Riverside has worked on being low all week and will blow by all of the lineman as if they were standing still. I think the left tackle needs to work on his stance, looks a little funny there on the line. The big fullback they bring in doesn't take care of the ball, that will be an easy strip for the Panthers to get on this week. The back with all of their yards last week lives dangerously when it comes to running the football, if he gets hit... I don't think he wants it again. The QB has a bad habit of being too comfortable... put pressure on him and the INT's will come for the Panthers. Your leading tackler will have a hard time making tackles this week on his back all night, he is a little guy and the wings and guards for the Panthers will handle your best defender with ease. The backfield has decent speed, but will have to be alot tougher than they showed last year to score this week on the Panthers. This is a rivalry game and Offensively we have the Defensive right where we want them, they have some weaknesses that are very easy to spot.......Secondary, they are slow and are not physical when it comes to the run. So my prediction STILL stands..... Decatur County Riverside Panthers- 45 Perry County Scared Vikings- 00

I am not " running down" any of the players from Perry County, I was stating an onvious opion in my behalf. Also, there is much talk of how much fire power is actually between these two teams. There will be enough offense this Friday to stop some of the 'lack of luster talk' in the community in Decatur County. This is a game that means alot to both towns and fans, whichever team comes better prepared will win the contest. I think we are that team. Prediction: Parsons Riverside: 45 Perry County: 6 I give them a touchdown since they have a kid running with the best in 1A in rushing.

well, what about defensively? Your leading tackler only has 31 tackles. And he is your second leading rusher. If you have a kid on the team with the second ranked amount of yards in 1a, then he should be in the talk of mr. football. SO I really don't believe that, must be a typo. Does he do anything else on the field besides run the ball. Plus we have a better QB running our offense, ya'll have a freshman.

I apologize for my mistake on the word opportunities. I am deeply sorry. I am good at being a jerk. Maybe I should focus on the positives in my life...atleast I am good at something. Comebacks just aren't your specialty,lol. Can we get back to the game this week or do we have to run all of our posts through spell check? Yes, We are last in 7-2A. Great observation there. Is that going to be a stat to be talked about after the loss this Friday? I think the game will be won on the front line for the Panthers, we are tougher up front than the Vikings and the backs aren't lacking on either side of the ball. I feel like we are a tougher team all around, especially in the running back position. Now, does anyone have a reasonable response to my opinion of how the game will be won for either side? Or do I have a few more names to be called. Jerk... Loser... or even uneducated?

Did I strike a nerve? If I did I am really not sorry. Heart....... I don't think your definition of heart is the same as mine. You say these boys have heart I kinda wonder where you watch the game. From the stands or the concession area, You must be a parent. I am sorry if I insulted you or your child but, if you thought it weren't true to some point it wouldn't have made you so angry in your posted response. SO.... I must be right. lol If there was HEART in PC, you guys probably wouldn't have wasted the oppertunities at MTCS and CA. I have read up on this, you guys even played MTCS even during the spring. That is not heart, that is called lack of hard work. OR, in my honest opinion being "SOFT" .... Also you guys gave up a HUGE first half to a halfway decent team in Columbia Academy. Look at it this way, if you win this week. 1. The playoffs are still out of reach, as they will be for the next couple of weeks 2. Your players just don't have the heart to win another game this season, even if they win this week. 3. 4-6 will be the result of beating us, so don't get the Victory Chants going just yet, you are still second string compared to everyone else in the region. 4. You are going to lose Friday, so don't even worry about 4-6.....3-7 will be your reality. lolololol

Well, I would hide behind some laughter too. If I had a season like that just a year ago. What is worse, that you are still the underdog to a 1-5 team, or that you will be losing to a 1-5 team. Either way it looks bad for Perry County. Your 3-3 record is sure something to brag about.....is that the best that the Vikings have ever done? Are ya'll making history this year???? I am sure it isn't the worst.... Face it Radio: you will always be a non contender in Perry County. Just change the mascot from Vikings to PRETENDERS. It would fit better.

well since no one else will post for Riverside's behalf I will do all the talking. We are 1-5, but there is alot of talent on this team. >We should rally around our boys and make sure they know they have our support. There are some ball games we can win the the last few weeks, I am not going to hide and keep this all to my self when I know there are better fans in Riverside. This is still Perry County, they are a 1a joke, but... they are still a STEPPING STONE to the future. Radio: I am glad you keep up with the schedules. LOL It isn't dirty when you play till the whistle, that is called hustle. We had a kid kicked out last year for a good hustle play. I am so sorry that your kids were too "SOFT!" to handle a good player making plays. 2 in a row and the Perry County fans come out swinging at anyone with an opposing opinion, man I would hate to see if you was actually a decent team.
