How will North respond after their loss to South last week?

Of course South has the nicest and most respectable players, coaches, and fans around right? Not hardly. Anybody with any sense will know you can't judge a team by one player. You talk about sportsmanship? So South teaches running up the score in the 4th quarter with there starters? Last night I was there, the sportsmanship of # 2 was bad, and I am sure the North coaches will run him Monday. If there is a thing such thing as a good winner, its definately not South. Wow, South fans are out of control with their big egoes! Which they have every right to be proud of their program, but reality will hit if they make it far enough to play Maryville.

Why would North risk getting a starter hurt down 35-0 in th 4th quarter? It doesn't really matter now, it just going to be a bad memory for this game. South defense played extremely well all game, and South offense got on track in the second half. Just remember what comes around goes around. South plays DB next year.

You were running the ball with your starters against North's second team in the 4th! Are you going to deny that?

It is common sense that in the 4th quarter you pull your starters with a big lead. Coach Carter didn't for whatever reason I don't know, it wasn't very classy by Carter. Should Coach Norris went and shake Coach Carter's hand? He probably should have, but would any of us? I know I woud like to think I would, but I serious doubt I would have with South's starters still in the game in the 4th. If South had lossed Fletcher, Taylor, Kitzmiller, or Davenport to injury in the fourth quarter. The South faithful would be furious and angry at their beloved coach. I also think it is hard to believe that North players were the only ones talking smack and not one south player said anything? In Coach Norris defense, he is the most moral coach I know. He has done a great job with the boys at North, and has taught them alot things outside of football. He never wants his team to be disrespectful. Everybody gets a little hot headed, and do things we wish we hadn't, especially when sports are involved.

I was wrong. All I can say, I didn't think South's defense was that good, but they were last night.

True, it will be a great game to see next year.

Well, South will get to prove that next year, if they can. That is a bold statement. I pull for both Kingsport schools, but to be the best, you got to beat the best.

Wow, South's defense looked great. Phillips and Garvin were all over the field making plays. South's running game took over the second half and that was all she wrote for North. North's defense played well in the 1st half only giving up 14 points, when South made North pay for the short field they got from the result of poor special teams play on North's part. North's defense got man-handled in the second half. Some would say from being on the field to long, or South just executed better than North. South is very dangerous with Taylor and Fletcher both in their backfield. They compliment each other very well. Betsy and Tenn High better look out, the rebels take no prisoners. North needs to regroup and get ready for Unicoi.

I honestly believe this is going to be a great game. I wish the best of luck to both teams.

Washington has been a great help to North. It was a win/win situation for him and North. North got a two way starter, and Matt gets to play defense and offense. He gets to run the ball at North, whereas he would have been 2nd to 3rd string runningback for DB (behind Sensabaugh and Sylvester).

His family moved out of zone. He would have had to pay city tuition to keep going to school at DB.

I don't know how his ankle will hold up. What you said is very true. Matt transferred from DB where he would have started in the secondary.

I don't already consider this game a win for South, you evidently like to put words in peoples mouth too. I said they should win, not they are going to win. I have stayed cool headed on here, but I had already said on here that he would play. I respect myself alot, but why would I lie about an injury. You was the one who didn't show respect acusing me of putting up smoke screens. Im not going to b.s. to anybody about North's injuries, there is no need for it. This will be a good game, the best in the area come friday.

Believe me, Matt Washington will play friday at the game, as long as he doesn't reinjure his ankle this week.

Where in the world do you get that information? Are you talking about Matt Washington? I don't think you know what you are talking about, if you are talking about Washington. I didn't say he was hitting or in pads. I just said he practice Monday. Why would North put up smoke screens? They have nothing to gain from saying one of their players that was hurt is not going to be able to play. North has everything to gain playing against South. North is the underdog, but South on the other hand has everything to loose playing North. South has the pressure of beating them by 30-40 points, which will not happen. South should win, but not by 40 points. Just to let you know, the Washington kid is a special player. Ask anybody that has watch North play this year.

Adams is a senior. His sport is basketball, but he is still very good at football. The DB coaches will do all they can for him if he wants to play college football.

I agree with alot what you said. Just for anybodies information, North is 1st in the conference in Defense (Rushing and Passing). North in the conference is 2nd in rushing offense and last in passing offense (I believe North is 4th overall in total offense). South is 1st in total offense (1st in passing and in rushing). South's defense is 2nd overall (2nd in rushing and 5th in passing). I believe this is going to be a good game to watch, can't wait.

Ashlon Adams is good, but he is not anywhere close to Lamon Williams. I know alot of the DB coaches personally, and they will all tell you Lamon is the best athlete to come through DB. That includes all the Sensabaughs, the Gaines brothers, Graves, Ghee, McMillan brothers, and anybody else. I am not taking anything away from any of those guys because they were great players. However, Lamon was unreal and untouchable talent wise. Duran just had to throw the ball up, and Lamon would go get it. Ashlon has great hands, but Lamon's speed, size, verticle leap and toughness is very seldom seen in high school. The sky was the limit for Lamon, unfortunately there was off the field issues.

I really don't think that South will score 49 points against North, and that North will be only able to score 7 points in the game. North will eat up to much of the clock for that to happen. I know South is able to score alot, but I doubt it will happen in this game (not 49 anyway). I hope the South players and coaches keep overlooking the Raiders (if they do) it will be a great game.
