  1. Bad Mr C from Catholic! Dumb! The iRISH ARE HOLDING BIG TIME Man these defensive play call are dumb as anything. 2nd and 25 and you go to prevent defense? Stupid.
  2. Van Dyne is single handily destroying Catholic's defense right now. Wow.
  3. 20-12 Farragut. Ran it right down Catholic's throat to start off the second half. Purty on the score. 150+ yards for him. Browning not looking sharp.
  4. Yep, Farragut's coaches better make some changes at halftime to stop the pass. The good thing though is that Farragut made some huge mistakes in the first half and didn't play very well and are up 13-12.
  5. Farragut up 13-12. Perez TD run. Van Dyne is simply too good for Catholic's DBs. Throw it to him and he can win this game. Purty looking great, close to if not 100 yds already. Need to limit stupid mistakes and Farragut should come out on top.
  6. Browning fumbles the snap on the Catholic 1. Typical Farragut mistakes.. always the same crap.
  7. Lee Van Dyne amazing 30 yard catch in double coverage + def. pass interference.
  8. 12-7 Catholic. Mackle screen goes for a big touchdown. I have no clue what Farragut's DC is thinking. Catholic's receivers are too good to let them have 5+ yard cushion on every single play. Very very soft coverage right now.
  9. 7-6 Farragut in the 2nd. Farragut's coaches need to bring the secondary up, they're givin em a darn 5 yd cushion, lookin like John Chavis out there. Purty is looking great for Farragut, broke huge 65 yd TD run. Greatly improved since last year.
  10. I think Farragut takes this game, they're offense will step up and the defense will continue to play good. What sort of passing game does Catholic have? If Farragut just keys on Cozart and stopping the run, it will force Catholic to be 1 dimensional and i'm confident their secondary is good enough to shut down Catholic's passing game and get some turnovers as well. Farragut should come out and establish the run first and foremost. Purty has improved greatly since last season and you can see it in his footwork, strength, agility, and vision that wasn't as prominent last year. The running game should open the passing game and i see Farragut winning this one 34-16.
  11. That is 100% correct. Coach Pharr is definitely a class act and every team he coaches wins and loses with class. I think that's what makes Farragut Baseball so special, the fact that they have some of the best players around and also some of the best people. As for why everyone hates them, I have no clue. Can anyone give me an actual reason that has some sense behind it?
  12. Even their stats favor Pfeifer, its not even close.. he was 13-1 on the mound with a 1.14 ERA and 112 strikeouts in 68 innings (1.82 per inning) last year. District 4-AAA Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-District, First Team All-State, Gold Medalist on the 16u USA team where he got the Win in each of his starts.
  13. Pfiefer= best pitcher on a 43-3 state championship team as a freshman. BCA National Freshman of the Year. State Tournament record for strikeouts in a game. Lost only one game as a freshman. Watson= Best pitcher on an average at best Siegel team?
  14. PatriotPal...is this the same Carter Watson that pitched when Farragut run-ruled Siegel 15-0 last year? Yes, i believe so. And did Carter Watson win the BCA National Freshman of the Year? No. But Phillip Pfiefer did.

    Bombs?

Mac hit one 410+ last year down in Ft. Lauderdale. He hit it through the field goal post on football field which was a good 60 ft behind the fence which was 335 in left center. Cade has hit too many to count, but the two i remember best were his sophomore year against Collierville. He went back to back off Ole Miss signee Pomeranz and each was easily 420+. Over the road at Oakland's field. Most of Curt's homeruns are linedrives. He doesn't hit many magestic shots because he is mainly a doubles and triples guy. Plus he's like 155-160 lbs.
