This will be a great game. Friday can't get here fast enough! MC's defense has improved a lot since week one. As long as they stop the dropsies and don't come out flat they should win this game.

I know the jv was in last week but #6 for MC seems to be a great athlete and is already starting on D. Will we see him in on some offense this week?

If MC plays dead like the past two weeks we will lose... I have a good feeling the boys will be up for SC... Should be a great crowd for this game... I can't wait for this one...

Fixed your post there were a lot of questionable calls tonight but turnovers are what lost us the game .. And some questionable coaching calls... This is just my opinion..

Marion will take this one but I think it will be close. I look for central to come out fired up and to shake of that loss to ER last week. They will put points on the board early but Marion will put it away in the 4th. MC- 28 CC- 14

Disturbing news? Care to elaborate?

Just from my observations MC is a well coached football team. They know their identity as an offensive group and are fine with four yds and a cloud of dust. They have a hard nosed rb in #1 who at times may take two to three to bring him down. The outside speed threat comes from #24 who doesn't have blazing speed but can get lost in between blockers. We have a deep threat if you key to much on #1 with #3 hitting number #87. Defense is suspect but with a few kids getting healthy should sure them up. I'm expecting a good game.

Should help sure up that defense as well... Anyone know the status of #21? Hope he is able to play again soon he is a difference maker in the secondary...

I haven't posted in a very long time but I lurk a lot. I had to search coacht just to remember my login! I've watched this team every week other than the jamboree hope to see a good game Friday. I'm not surprised to see that everone is keying on #1 but I'm glad that's allowed others to show they can be dangerous as well. Our QB has impressed me as a sophomore. #87 is a good ball player on both sides as is #24. Oh and when is the last time MC has had a kicker as good as #13?

I believe every person is intitled to their on take on things but i am curious to know why Marion is considered cake in your opinion?? Have you watched a Marion game an not at all been impressed with their performance??

I wouldnt go as far as saying they want loose to a 1a- 2a untill deep in the playoffs??? They play Marion, South Pit, and a Sequatchie team thats well on there way back up... Marion still in the playoffs this week South Pitt only lost to the 1a state champs (in my eyes) last week by a touch down... I havent seen all their schedule but i wouldnt go that far bud...

Well its the day before the big game, hope everyone got their bellys nice an stuffed and had a Happy Thanksgiving... These "little jasper" comments have spread state wide i do believe.. It is however quite funny when your neighbors want to call themselves the real MC knowing there is only one... Its kind of a smack in the face to be called Jasper but to add the words little before it wow... Only one correction though purplegrad... The middle school is in fact JMS there for they would be the oldest Jasper Warriors.... On a mission they are and have been the Scrappiest group iv seen at MC in a long time... We will see a hard fought ball game tomorow night by both sides... Marion keeps this one close and pulls out the big W ....

I did state the power of the Tornado and anyone with a right mind knows they are a dangerous team, however i do believe the Warriors are just as dangerous but undoubtfully not given as much credit... Fridays game should be a very hard fought ball game i personally can not wait till kickoff... The Warriors have alot to prove... Warriors Win!
