i belive coach e was a great person an loved them boys an wanted to see them succeed an really had the best intentions for Marion County... But a great person doesn always mean you have a proven field general. In my opinion he got in over his head with a County that demands perfection from the shadow of the 90's... A great assistant he would be but when it comes down to it it had to be the issue of discipline... If you cant get respect from your boys there not gonna perform 110% for you... The right decision was made but i think keepin him around as an assistant woulda been a smarter move an looked better on the schools part... I was at the game an honestly from my seat it looked as if marion had just as many if not more people in the stands than the blackout crowd.... Must of got an ear full at the half.... In the past several games I have witnessed a Marion team determined to make a statement. If im not mistaken I could here the chants before the run through at the Cannon County game "This is our year". Showing off a relentless rushing attack by their version of thunder and lighting 24 and 21, and with a defense stout enough to hold the number 7 team ranked in the 2a class to under 60 yards total offense, the Warriors of Marion County have been destroying everything in there path. Next up is Sequatchie an i here they have a nice size defense of front an have completely turned things around after a couple of off years. Not enough to slow down this Marion offense or to break this barely bendable defense...
