Returned kicks, punt team, FGs and PATs, and they used him as a slot receiver.... Never put him at RB (which I thought was a joke), but atleast he got to participate!

We have a handful of gritty RBs that will have to beat each other up for the starting spot (Butler will probably stay at FB!) 2 possible but totally different QBs... One has a pretty decent arm and doesn't run, the other is strictly wildcat! We have 2 returning OL center and guard. Defense we have 3 starters returning the MLBs and nose guard! We won't have a Phelps or Turner next year, who can break a 60+ yard play at any given time, but I think we will be ok!

You are right most are 6'3" in the SEC a few 6'1"s and UTs QBs are usually 6'4" to 6'6"! I still think the kid will be just fine in whatever conference in whatever division!

I watched the game and this kid absolutely amazed me! He has every skill the tradition QB has and still has another year!.. Wow! Yes he does have the size to play in the SEC, maybe not UT but the SEC! Height don't really matter if you have a true QB instinct! Drew Brees listed at 6'0" more like 5'10"! This kid will be just fine!!

I reckon a few Chester Countians gonna come support them Cards tmar night! Hope itll be a good game! I'd love to see the Cards make it to Cookeville! I seen where one of them BIG ole lineman will be blocking for Phelps in the East vs West allstar game! That's a great accomplishment!

Ok I guess I can clear a few things up and add my .02 cents! Covington has the fastest BACKS CC faced all year NOT the fastest "TEAM"! Covington runs the wing t and runs it well, but as we all know there are alot of fakes and hand offs in that offense, and they WILL fumble! That being said when they do not fumble they will get their yards and be in scoring position! CC did not stop the run as well as they should have this year, but I thought they would have slowed down Covingtons running game, because they did run that same offense under Cupples, but they didn't! I really don't see a team shutting their running game down! Maybe slowing it down, but not shutting it down! If Maplewood has any kind of a passing game they will have success, and you will be able to run it down there throat! CC went 99 yards for a score and ate up 9 minutes in second qtr! Covington is a very good football team and they don't give up! Hope they cross the river and bring a W back west! Oh and one more thing the half back #12 does an excellent job blocking/setting the corner! He will hold everytime but does it good grabs jersey and under shoulder pads but never extends his arms! Smart football IMO!!

Your backfield was the fastest we've faced! As for 4A in the west (not induing Memphis) Liberty as a "team" was the fastest IMO!

I want to give these boys a special thanks on a special season! My senior year (03) was what we thought the turn around year for our program, but it wasnt it was only the year we won the only playoff game! Hopefully (like plumb said) they won't be remembered, like we were, as the team that made "school history" but remembered as the team that turned this program around! Thank you seniors for this special season cherish those memories they last a lifetime!

Mid week getting closer and closer.. Weather is suppose to clear up tmar and be a nice night for football Friday! Both teams are hungry for making a run to state and they both are doing a good job of it so far! Gonna be a goodin! Can't wait!
