  1. This post was a joke about LoBrillo. There is no value in it. He's a junior at GHS and stands on the sidelines during football games.
  2. Let's not let this thread get to what the last Greeneville thread reached.... Just sayin.
  3. 103.1fm and 1450am in greeneville is carrying the game. You can also listen online to WGRV.. go to greenevillefootball.com and follow the link
  4. Unfinished business for Greeneville Class 4A http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/nov/25/unfinished-business-for-greeneville-class-4a/
  5. Looks like the Devils are the underdog team heading into this game... according to Nashville area papers. Reminder to Greeneville fans that the team is leaving at noon, from the high school, headed to Maplewood. Be sure to line the escort rout through downtown and support your team. I am not sure when the fan buses are heading out. Does anyone know? GO GREENE! FINISH!
  6. Greeneville's Show Hits The Road Friday http://greenevillesun.com/story/312234
  7. ha. Should have expected that. Friday can't get here quick enough. Looking forward to the trip out west. Have a great Thanksgiving!
  8. Maplewood faces title-worthy showdown in football semifinals http://nashvillecitypaper.com/content/sports/preps-maplewood-faces-title-worthy-showdown-football-semifinals
  9. Ok. I wouldn't say Greeneville is talking that they are the 'king of TN football.' I think that everyone is just blowing that out of text. Devil fans just really excited and believe in their team this year and the progress the program has made since moving down to their correct classification. IF the Devils were to win state this year I believe that everyone will still say the Devils didn't play anyone. So does that mean everyone in 4a is having a bad year and Gville just lucked out on winning? I'm just trying to understand what it will take for people to give the Devils credit for what they have accomplished so far this year....
  10. Thanks, Alcoa. Nice to see the Greene Devils have the support of East Tennessee!
  11. You can't say this is completely neutral. You have been hatin on Greeneville since post one on our treads.
  12. I hope we can get some fan buses together. The Devils need the support like they had at Red Bank last year. That was an awesome game and atmosphere... and the past two games at home have been like no other, when it comes to fan support. The fans have been in the games from start to finish.
  13. "Fulton forced them to throw a few times and they scored once from the 1 in two plays. That's prett good for a crappy passing team. I don't think that was Shuffler recieving either." Shuff was on the recieving end of the second pass for a TD. Thorton caught the first pass of that drive. I agree that Shuffler isn't the only 'real' threat in our recieving core. I personally think Kelby is more of a threat than Shuffler. Any of our guys can make a catch when needed. There just hasn't been many opportunities because the running game has worked quite well.
  14. Florida, you can't hide by changing your screen name.. Some of the crap you say is soo ignorant I could spot you from a mile a way. You say the same thing over and over. WHO CARES! Anyway.. how many greeneville games have you been able to watch this year? To the game: This has to be one of the most focused group of Devils I have seen in the past several years. They are ready to FINISH what they started last year. I hope Gibbs brings their best game of the year tomorrow night. I am ready to watch a good game for ONCE this year. How many seniors does Gibbs have on this years team? Quarter Final: Gville 56, Gibbs 17 - No arrogance at all. This guess is just from what I've read, heard, and watched from both team. I look forward to 7:00pm tomorrow night at Burley Stadium. Question to Devil fans: What would you say has given the Devils so much success the past couple of years? ..other than playing in a weak conference. Although I think Coach Ballard is a very good coach, would you say that bringing in Coach McCurry a few years ago helped the program take a big leap?
  15. ........ "I did not see Brainerd Greeneville games but for awhile Brainerd was leading. And from what I have read Greeneville struggled some in regaining the lead and holding on for dear life at home. Go welcome to the Lion Den!" I'm not sure what source you've read to get that idea. Greeneville only trailed in this game for about 5 or so minutes. They NEVER struggled in regaining the lead..... We just wasn't playing our type of ball in the first half. Here's a link to the Greeneville Sun artical http://greenevillesun.com/story/306653
  16. Geez Charlie, a little melodramatic don't ya think. My guess is it leaves at halftime when we're stomping a mudhole in our competition. Maybe it left with our traditional rivals in the IMAC...we do kinda miss having MoWest to hate on.It definitely wasn't missing at Burley against SG and we made a fine showing against WG over at the Range. I think maybe we need a season or 2 to develop some new rivalries and it would help if our conference foes had a better fan turnout....it was kinda pathetic that CG had a better fan turnout at Burley than CD. Personally, my enthusiasm left this week when I couldn't get a Green and White dog at the concession stand....now thats tragic. What happened to "Kikers Kannon".... I miss the BOOMS!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that was a nice touch this year! I don't believe the TSSAA allows it in the playoffs
  17. greeneville#1, Dude you are crazy. It was a lucky guess. You had NO IDEA as what was to come from that team.... Just don't get an even bigger head next week and talk your normal crap when we play Brainerd
