  1. I agree with you that one of these guys will have to step up. And I think that both of them have the potential to do so. Tyler Yoder showed that he could possibly be that role player in the district tournament. I also agree that stone will not walk through anything in the years to come. Anyone that has played high school sports knows that nothing is guaranteed. This freshmen and sophomore class has a ton of good kids with a lot of potential, but they have not been prepared for high school ball like our kids in the past couple of years have been. Not saying that they won't be good high school basketball players because with a great coach like Coach Capps they could be at the top in a few years.
  2. Fulton better not look past AC. I know Fulton is a better team, but AC has some serious talent and a good coach. I still think Fulton will win but I would be willing to bet it will be closer than people think. Good luck AC and all of the 4AA teams!!!
  3. lol no not mad at all. But Carter was a very undisciplined team. Carter beat us fair and square, even though they shouldn't have lol.
  4. Last year (haven't seen them this year) they were a very undisciplined team. There could have been several technicals called in the heat of the game. In one instance a player actually got in the refs face. Keeping players mouths shut towards the officials is the responsibility of the coach in my opinion lol. You don't see Coach Hutchen's players doing stuff like that, so ya I would say Catholic has a big coaching advantage!
  5. Thats a good assessment. I would definitely give the coaching advantage to Catholic. Talent advantage to Carter, but the irish are not lacking in this department either. I will say the more disciplined Catholic by 3 in a close one.
  6. oh no problem. Alex actually had a very solid game also.
  7. I was wondering the same thing. Thought Leslie Brown or Taylor Smith from Stone should have got it over Dishman. It seemed that both of them had a better tournament than Destiny. Even though this is a girls forum, I also thought that Zack Sherrill should have got the MVP instead of Kiser in the boys ship.
  8. Taylor Kiser was the MVP. His younger brother is Alex. Great game and good luck to both teams. Congrats Panthers!!!!
  9. where is their district tournament being played at?
  10. Stone also won over Anderson. So Stone @ Catholic is our district championship game!!! Lets hear some thoughts?
  11. you are comparing apples to oranges. If you say kiser (a post) is a better shooter or ball handler than rorex (a guard) then yes that would be stupid, but to say he has had a more positive effect on his team this year then it would be kiser. Rorex has seemed to be half speed most of the year.
  12. any word on the KC at Loudon game?
  13. I dont think that they will determine that until the games tomorrow are completed. Is there any other district games being played tomorrow besides Catholic at Loudon?
  14. Big game for Stone. What do you guys think?
  15. Everyone of those players had a clutch mistake in the last minute and ten seconds of the game. Zack missed a key layup, kiser missed a big free throw. And Mason didnt get open on the last inbound pass. Don't get me wrong, I think that these guys are good players but i wouldn't trust anyone of them to win the game for me in the clutch.
