Wow. Fanthe is a newbie and is sounding so .........above it all. As far as I've seen, no one is talking trash. Just giving opinions. I will give mine now. I think this game is a toss up. Very simple. The team that scores the most points will win. fanthe .....don't be so high and mighty about being a true champion. It makes you sound pompous.

I don't want to sound too negative about our team. I believe in these kids. We will be ready to fight for 4 quarters. You can count on that. I expect Coach Bowling to open up more of the playbook this week. So far we have thrown 2 passes, both incomplete. I don't expect that to change anytime soon. There are some very effective plays that I have seen in practice that haven't made it to the game yet. We have well over 600 yards against 2 teams by keeping things simple and imposing our will at the point of attack. Bare in mind that one of those teams was very a prepared and well coached Mayfield team. We had 309 yards on the ground against them. I know that is just a statistic and stats are for the losers to try and find a positive from a loss. My point, I guess, is that we are tough and aggressive and we will be ready to fight for 4 quarters.

Sorry for misspelling the young man's name. Baugus. Got it now. Our biggest opponent so far has been ourselves. JSS was not very good. We should have scored 50 plus points. Mayfield .......Well they were simply better. We made it easier for them. I think we could have only made the game respectable the end result would have been the same. This week is the first game that has any real importance. District competition starts now. Our guys must get those nagging penalties under control. Fumbles will kill us in this game. I don't have much to say about defense. The scores in the last couple of games speak for themselves. We are going to have to put some pressure on the QBS. We have to find a way to get after the signal caller. That's all.

I was listening on the way home last night and Bogus sounded like he was a force to be reckoned with. We will have to contain him and keep him from running.

Nah. It wasn't the streak it was the antics after the game that caused the animosity. That's over with now and we are focused on what we have to do next. We will be physical and competitive. The biggest task is to stop making mistakes and with the stupid penalties.

Manowar must think no one knows anything about football but him. I've seen Championship teams. I know good football when I see it. Mayfield is excellent. Can't pay any attention to anyone who says otherwise. This guy is an idiot plain and simple. I can't argue with his UC comment at this point in the season. I see great potential and we are going to get there. A win against Peabody would be a huge step in the right direction. We are and will continue to improve. We will be better this week than last week and by the time the playoffs get here I believe we will peak and make a strong run.

We are in for a fight. My Tornadoes did perform much better last night but they still have a great deal to work on. We are who we are and that is a hard nosed running team. Nothing to add about that. My concern is penalties and turnovers. We must improve on both of those. We do a better job of stopping ourselves than the teams we have played so far. If we don't get better it's gonna be a long season.

Congrats Peabody on a great win. Looks like UC will have our hands full next week.

Going into the 4th quarter UC held the ball most of the 3rd. Started a drive inside out 5 and now have it in the Red Zone. Well inside the 5 now. 1st and goal. Whoops! Fumble. The Hawks have it but they have a long way to go.

Hawks got the ball coming out in the 2nd half. Went 3 and out. UC runs 2 plays and scored. 28-7 UC

At the half. UC 21- 7. We are looking much better holding on to the ball. Keeping it simple. Using fullback and QB dive and it's working well. JSS is wearing down. So far everything is looking much better. We fumbled once and lost it. We have one INT. It feels like we are in control. The Hawks coaching staff certainly watched the Mayfield film because I have seen plenty of the plays those guys ran. 1980. That's about all I can say at this point.
