No he is probably 3rd string. Waddell is the starting QB with Bowling's son as backup. All 3 are capable but Waddell is like a gaurd playing QB. Big, strong and fast for a boy his size. Ironically he was playing gaurd at this time last year. Our starting QB went down and he stepped in and ran a long touchdown on the first play. He's been the starter ever since. During our injury riddled season he had to sit one game to heal up and then Bowling's son stepped in and did a great job until Waddell could get back.

Okay thanks for clearing up the fact that he is not a player. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that he has a certain degree of entitlement. Trust me when I say this won't be an easy out for the Cardinals. It will be a dogfight. By that I mean same type of offensive scheme. So, we have seen this type of offense several times over the years and with the exception of the two times we played the Lions last year we usually do a pretty good job of defending it. The Haywood County team ran the same thing last week and we did pretty good with themas well. Now I am not one to say too much, in fact I will let people believe what they want about who we are. You know, outdated, mundane, predictable all those run of the mill comments. And. ........I think I will do the same thing right now. I have a bagged cat. He ain't getting out either. Whew! I almost let it out. Lol. Having fun. Just know that you don't know. That's all you need to know.

There should be no problem with space but I would get there early. Regardless it's gonna be standing room only.

Okay guys now that things have settled down a bit I want to get back to it. I watched practice today and I think we have a great plan in place. I can say that our boys are motivated and they are showing a lot of confidence. I won't say anything other than that except that there will be some surprised fans on both sides of the field.

55 I truly hope you are talking about the scrimmage we had earlier with Waverly and Wayne County. Because if that's what you " broke down" then you are in for a surprise. Honestly we should have stayed on the bus for that scrimmage. I have already given reasons why earlier in this thread. Big and slow. Yep that's about right. Hey man both teams are very effective at what they do. We have aspects the Cardinals need to look out for and likewise UC has to be on point every play to keep that speed from getting out of control. Anyway I watched practice today and I watched as the coaches were breaking the Cardinals offense down. I have been wondering how we were gonna simulate their speed. Well I think the idea was genius. That's all I have to say about that.

1980 I am being honest win I say that there are no real stars on this team. No kidding. You will hear the name Trey Jones quite a bit. He is our fullback and gets fed the rock over and over again. Another is our QB Braxton Waddell. He is very smart and makes good reads and he is hard to bring down. The thing about how our offense works is designed to take what the defense gives you. Whether 3 yards or 30 yards that's what we take. I'm not sandbagging. That's the only answer I have.
