I know I know---my bad. Who does Santa Fe play tonight? That Priest is on fire and ya'll playing more consistent every game and winning!! Culleoka beat Summertown last night by 8 after almost getting beat by CA---go figure.

Hopefully Tuesday was a wake up call for Culleoka. I believe they shot less than 20 % from the field and from the free throw line. Hats off to Santa Fe-- they played their game plan to a t. I am thankful it is the first of the season and not the last. We cannot play like we did Tuesday night and expect to beat Hampshire. So it might be Hampshire's time tonight.

I agree with you. They were leading after one quarter and only trailed by 2 or 3 at halftime. They should have gotten the win. They as well as all teams just need to find consistency and depth in scoring. It's early in season and I believe they show great promise.

Culleoka look decent against Summertown. They went 3 minutes without scoring in the 3rd quarter and we all know you can't do that against a solid good team like Summertown. Summertown scored 3 straight 3 pointers during that time frame and Cully could never catch up. Cully plays Santa Fe tonight at Culleoka. I believe this game will be a tight game throughout with Culleoka pulling during 2nd half winning by 10. What about any other district games tonight??

I agree with you. I believe tomorrow's game with Summertown will be interesting. They are always fast and we will have to definitely bring our "A" game to win and have good bench play. Jackson is always solid in the middle and have been getting other scoring from all over which is good. I am glad we are playing them this year during the regular season.

Well good for Hampshire. I forgot Santa Fe in the district. Who does Hampshire have besides Will Boshers? I believe other teams have more depth and perhaps Hampshire will top out at 2nd or 3rd with all the others trying to catch and beat Mt. Pleasant.

I believe the district will end up like this: 1. Mt Pleasant 2. Culleoka 3. Richland 4. Columbia Academy 5. Hampshire 6. Cornersville

I believe the district 11 #1 seed will beat Loretto but will be hard pressed to beat either of the other 3 in district 12. I believe both Summertown and Perry County should get to the substate but as we have seen in the past--- poor 3 point shooting will doom an offense quickly. Yes and I know Summertown beat Columbia Academy by 10 + twice. Who beat who during the regular season----Perry Co. vs Summertown?

I believe Spencer Richardson in 11a because he is scoring 14-18 points a game and is best post player in district 11a. As far as guards, Will Boshers is leading the district in points per game I believe at 20 a game. I believe it is a toss up between these two because they are most consitent in scoring for their teams. I would give the nod to Spencer because CA is having a great year and should get to at the least the semis of the region. Just my opinion-----what are others thinking?

I will agree with you there. I don't know what the pollsters are thinking either. I wonder if they are not from Middle TN and don't keep up with the games but they probably do? I don't put anything to polls, except for the sportswriters who are the pollsters anyway, because they are there to sell more papers. I am glad Summertown got into the poll this week becasue ya'll have a great chance to getting to State this year----deserve that ranking. Should be above Columbia Academy. But all the polls are nonsense until tournament time and that is when they go away and its decided on the court all the way to the 'boro! Good luck in the tournament.

I agree with you with CA being ranked so high! I believe Summertown or Perry County should be ranked higher!! Yes, yes---see you in Mt. Pleasant.

Friday's game Hampshire at Richland (Ricland by 15)---Richland should handle the Hawks. Cornersville at Mt Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant by 10+)---game should not be close and I believe Mt Pleasant will be ready for the kill tonight. Mt Pleasant by 10 CA by 10------I think Cully's post play can keep up with the Richardson twins but I just don't think Culleoka's guards can keep up with others--need to step it up as far consitency in shooting; Cully has been struggling from outside for past 3-4 games. Cully has got to have a hot night or it could be lights out early in the game. Plus CA will be fired up-- this being their first meeting against there former coach-- Coach Dejarnette.

I think you are just seeing players at Culleoka who have such inexperience---meaning most of the starters have never really played and started for Culleoka in the past because Coach Slatten only played 6-8 players during a game and I think as the season goes on hopefully they will show more consistency in how they play and score. That must have been a great game! Mt. Pleasant plays at Culleoka tonight. Culleoka has to have good shooting from outside to open up its postplayers in order to stay close to Mt P. Santa Fe beat us bad at your place--we had an awful night of shooting. We beat Hampshire fairly well at Culleoka but tonight is a far better opponent. We'll see what happens. Culleoka got beat by Wayne Co. by 5------59-54 Cully was trailing by 21 points in the 3rd quarter and came back but just short. Wayne Co has a balanced scoring team. That Rice kid, #32 can hit from anywhere it seems. Any other scores in---I heard CA lost to Perry co but don't know the score

CA by 5--- I believe CA will be fired up to show everyone that they are a better team than they showed the other night. Mt. pleasant by 5---- I just don't see Cully keeping up with Mt Pleasant's many athletes that can jump and Cully boxes out badly--------I believe that will be the key to the game is keeping Mt pleasant from getting multiple shots off by rebounding and then the seniors for cully have got to start getting hot from 3 point land faster--- earlier in the game!!

I agree Coach Slatten puts the boys down a lot especially at practice but I think he does that to try to motivate them. But I know there have been times where he praises them also especially after wins. I think people laud coaches more after big wins like the other night with the CA game. Cully has lost close ballgames before in our district all year it seems so it was time for them to win a close one. I don't know if Slatten is best in state but he has had success in the past with all of his teams even winning state tourney at Perry Co in the 90's and getting to the final four of state 2 years ago. I know coach is well respected at Culleoka so I don't know where your coming from with saying nobody at Culleoka likes him.

For all who might not know it---Cully vs Santa Fe has been moved to Wednesday night at Santa Fe. It was originally scheduled for tonight. That will be tough for the winner as they have to play CA the next night at Cornersville. I believe the Cully vs Santa Fe game will be determined by how well the seniors do on both teams. Somebody needs to step up and show their leadership especially for Cully. No doubt about it--this game will be a close and tight one--a war #3. Winner continues on and plays at least 3 more games---loser goes home and gets to watch toruney from the stands!!

Yes, I believe CA will be fired up and focused on this game---I believe Williams will do well but look for MT. P to keep it close and dunk it a few times. I believe CA will win by 4-5.

Cully missed a lot of easy shots. Williams needs to catch fire again for CA. I think CA goes to SF and wins by 10+ Friday Night. yes i agree cully missed easy shots but ca played shut down defense in the 2nd half patterson holding upshaw to 4 points. cully looked slow without him. I believe Culleoka needs to have more post play---they always pass it around the perimeter but never insde!! They shoot 7-8 threes and miss consistently; yet, last night there was several times, Cully's big center was open but they did not throw it to him. If Cully does not start getting more post play or getting into him, I am afraid there season may end early. Why can't Cully's guards get that into their heads, if you have good post play---that frees them up for more shots. Last night, Cully must have missed 5-6 layups---at least 12 points! They have time to get it together but it is going to be tough.

The district tourney's semifinals and finals are all at Cornersville. The first round games are played at the higher seeds home. Looks like Cully and Santa Fe are going to have to play each other in the first round--it's just where at. That is going to be a war for a first round game.
