red warrior - look at the teams and region, all your games for the most part were "CUPCAKE" games - blowouts, never battle tested, never faced adversity,never punched in the mouth and got up brushed off and punched back... like i said because the teams you play can often make you get into a false sense of security. And make you feel your better than you actually are....

Why, because the teams you play can often make you get into a false sense of security. And make you feel your better than you actually are! ha ha HA HAH SOUND FAMILAR HENRY COUNTY FANS!!!!!Playing league games in a weak Division like H.C. does not help prepare you for the playoffs. your coach should be determined to make sure his team is battle-tested, hit the phones early in the offseason to beef up his 2011 schedule. H.C.needs to be thrown into the fire-It exposes your team to find out where your weaknesses are. I don't think you at HC got some things addressed , IT could have taken care of by playing some good teams---Playing those hard out of conference games will be good for your team. you might not win them but it will get you lots of experience from them.... It expose a teams weaknesses even in a win so that the team is better and more prepared going into the conference schedule. we always set out to make as tough a non-region schedule as possible to prepare our team for the battles they will face later in the season-To play against the best of competition is not only challenging, it’s exciting, we built a non-region schedule like we did because we knew we needed to play tough opponents early so it would get us ready for our region schedule, and it’s just a brutal region and you’ve got to be ready to play every Friday night---OTHER COACHES reached out to us to play as we were a powerhouse “Knowing they’re a good team it will be a test for us, we were up for the challenge, = YOU get battle-tested. its prepares your team for region games by playing tough teams early it serves as a good barometer to see where your team is and what they needed to do to get better,. why wouldnt you want to schedule the best, it will only help yopur team, schedule cupcakes like HC and see the outcome - look at the otherpage someone posted some stats

Again red warrior, those outstanding coaches stated a tough non conference schedule early helps them for district,playoffs,and gives them teams to measure up too. Call them or email th its easy to find thier email. I told you contact the following coaches whom they are on record as saying they want tough non district games to get them ready for the playoffs blackman shadownes;ensworth bowers,brentwood Crawford,ex indy coach smith.....call them ,ask them how many gold balls they have.

agree rocky except that franklin does have much better athletes then Brentwood, its just that crawford ( brentwood) can coach with the best of them- Mr football, i call him barry sanders bye far is the unstoppable and sorry he could gain 200 yds with a middle school o- line - i think the quick points by your blaze totally stunned the rebs, and plain and simple i think that to a player they realized they couldnt stop your boy and for the most part gave up-

snowplow2010 I agree the Rutherford and Wilcos for the most part beat each other up within their region - And when scheduling for up-coming years its hard to predict if a team will be good in say 2 or 3 years = BUT look at Brentwood, they go out and play smyrna,oakland,blackman and gallatin ( ALL TEAMS that for the most part you know will bring it year in / year out ).... I know coach Smith ( ex Elzel harding, INDY and Science Hill coach ) always wanted tough non region games etc hence while at indy he always had brentwood Academy and MBA both

I guess coach bowers (ensworth) coach crawford (brentwood) coach Shadowens (blackman) and ex INDY coach Scott Smith know nothing as you can check their past comments and thier fan base whom state " they want early toung non district games so its preps them for their region play, and for the long run aka playoffs.... i agree with tricklician - H.C.plays a watered down schedule that hurts them come play off time - step out of your comfort zone H.C. do a home and home versus a WILCO, Sumner or Rutherford county team.. I have no doubts that HHS walked away with this win b/c of the quality of teams within its region, for ther most part each team is equal and could win.. But with the jacked off playoff format why would a coach want to schedule non-region tough games? Example INDY had Oakland and MBA they could have played 2 cupcake teams

last 10 years 5 titles - 9 apperances for RUTH CO 2 titles - 6 appearnaces for WILCO DONKEY - even if you did ( and I doubt you did ) you wouldnt know enought to break down what you saw , and if you did go and tape the practice all i have to say is I applaud you for not having a life.... look at my last post, i took the BLAZE but i am telling you if the Franklin QB can keep his INT's to zero the REBS could just be moving on
