  1. Looking forward to it... I think we've got a problem. Franklin County's schedule on soccerinfo says that they are in the science hill tournament this weekend. They are also in the bracket for the CCS tournament. I'm not sure how they'll do both.
  2. What do you mean that Lenior City and CAK are a certainly in top positions. How would you differentiate between them and FRA and CCS.
  3. I don't play for Sweetwater. I play for CCS and we beat Boyd 6-0 last year, and tied Sweetwater. Sweetwater is the much better team.
  4. Sweetwater is the best team in your district...If Boyd beats them, it will be a fluke.
  5. It was all your fault...Is this Manny's son?
  6. CCS (either 1 or 2 in the state) dominated Cookeville 5-0. I haven't heard of Livingston Academy for soccer, and it seems like if they're tying those teams they might need some more time. The top teams in A-AA are historically CAK, CCS, FRA, and Lenior City. If the brackets for state don't get screwed up like they did last year, this should be the state final four.
  7. I wouldn't doubt Tennessee soccer if I didn't have a good reason too, considering I play club and high school in Tennessee. What Tennessee city is a tenth as good as Atlanta for club or high school? Shiloh, Duluth, Parkview, Lovett, Westminster, GAC, Mcintosh, and I know there are dozens more very good teams. It is very possible that that team Chattahooche had a similar schedule to Dalton's region where they typically win 10-0. A team who is undefeated can't be ignored in state rankings, however, even if they don't really play anybody. Put Farragut up against Shiloh or Duluth (5A finals teams, this game was on CSS) and they would have a tough game. True, maybe they beat Parkview, I can't remember, but by looking at Parkview's record last year, they seemed to fold towards the end of the season. Since I never saw Farragut last year I really can't say how they would have done with Dalton. I do know that we (CCS) gave Dalton the game of their season, the night before they lost to Knox Catholic. Supposedly their starters sat for about half of the Catholic game. How else do you explain a team that to this point this year has given up one goal give up 4 in one game to a team that didn't seem to have huge games.
  8. Then do your homework concerning North Georgia if you're going to bash the defending 4A Georgia champs...Just for the record, even though I play in Tennessee, Georgia has by far better soccer.
  9. He's predicting scores, not reporting them.
  10. Yeah we lost 5 starters from last years team, but had 3 guys come in who we were equal with the guys starting, and then we had another guy who didn't play last year come back, so we're doing pretty well. We have 8 seniors starting and the other 3 starters all played or started significantly the last 2 years.
  11. Yeah I do. You've actually talked to me on here about it before, but anyway. We are 3-1 so far. We've beat Cookeville 5-0, Notre Dame 2-1, Soddy Daisy 2-0, and lost to Randolph Academy (AL) 2-0.
  12. 3 games...win first round you stay in winners bracket and can finish no worse than 4th. last year we screwed ourselves over by scheduling dalton and losing 2-0 in our first round game. we killed tullahoma and franklin co. afterwards, but we still only finished 5th. ooltewah lost to dalton 8-0 and still technically finished ahead of us.
  13. Soddy 3-0 Much better than expected...very good center mid and 10 up front is good...coulter is nothing special and proved his bad reputation by giving me a cheap shot after I had cleared the ball and he hit me as hard as he could in the calf...other than him, soddy played a hard clean game.
  14. Haha...that's good that somebody knows who is playing. Myself and the rest of the players had no idea who was even coming. Oh well, it will be a good tournament.
  15. 1. CAK 1. CCS 3. FRA 4. Lenior City After that...
  16. Drew scored both goals tonight in a 2-1 win against Notre Dame. He now has 5 goals in 3 games against legit competition.
  17. Way to go Grace...Boyd is the second worst team in the city to Tyner.
  18. Is this the top 5 in AAA, or top 5 in all divisions?
  19. They play CCS up at tournament in Lenior City.
  20. Wow, congratulations for whooping up on another terrible team.
  21. CCS 5 Cookeville 0 Goals by: Drew Courtney 3, Michael Pepper, Gabe Weaver.
  22. Pepper plays forward, I play left back, Gabe plays center mid, and Sasse is a sub off the bench at either mid or back. Jon Cook is playing baseball, but if he had played goalie since middle school, he would no doubt be one of the top in the city.
  23. This guys going to lead the Chattanooga area in goals because he will play Tyner, Brainerd, Boyd, Tellico Plains, etc. while the best players (Dougher, Courtney, etc.) all play legitimate teams where the might win a game 3 or 4-0, and at the most they might get two goals in a game sometimes.
