Monday's Fairview vs. Wayne Co game was rained-out and rescheduled for Tuesday. That caused Tuesday's game of Page vs. Fairview/Wayne Co to be rescheduled for Wed night at 6pm. I haven't heard about the Zion vs. Loretto game, but Columbia Acad will play the winner.

Official records... Peter Wade (assistant coach of Page High School's boys' and girls' soccer team) has all official records. I believe Redmond turned the books over to him years ago. Coach Wade has been diligent in keeping up with all records. (Actually he is obsessed with stats and records and is the absolute BEST person to be keeping them! My understanding is that Coach Wade has submitted many records to TSSAA to post on their website and they have failed to do so. I think it would be great to see TSSAA keep records posted... I think the records they currently have for soccer are lacking...

Congrats to Ravenwood! I think Brentwood got a little over confident and upsets happen that way. Would Brentwood win 4 out of 5 times... probably... but not this time. That's why sports are so fun! Ravenwood is well coached and has a future!

#1- BGA - clearly #1 in the county #2- BHS - overrated this year #3- Franklin - they make my laugh compared to past years tie #4- Centennial tie #4- Page tie #4- BA (Centennial, Page, and BA I think would duke it out for spot #4) tie #7- Fairview tie #7- Ravenwood (Fairview has improved, Ravenwood has improved) What I like about Williamson County this year is that there are many good teams, but no one is a true standout compared to previous years. (With the possible exception of BGA).

So how has Columbia Central played this year. Their record reflects a pretty good team. Who are their best players?

When we played Wayne Co. I heard 3 or 4 of their players tell the team "Never give up!" I respect that. It's obvious that the skill level of the team is not great, so let's move on from ripping them apart! I agree with Durb21, a program has to start somewhere and let's encourage our brothers down in Wayne Co.

I will attempt to be totally fair with my comments about Page v. Zion... Page dominated. If Page had finished their shots better, it was easily a 6-0 game. Zion has improved greatly in the past 2-3 years. They have a bright future and played with alot of heart. I look forward to seeing them throughout the year.

OK, let's get serious... let's give credit where credit is due! Brentwood - great team, very dominate, fun to watch. Franklin - good team, will have success this year. Centennial - good team, should have success this year Page - every bit as good as Centennial this year. No fluke on the tie (1-1). I wish we could see Page and Franklin play. Let's put Page on the map this year. They deserve it.
