You must be listening to talk in GHS halls and cafeteria because everybody else in Greene county is pulling for the Rebels, at least for tomorrow night. If SG is so below your level and you happen to lose, I guess you will have to DEAL-WIT-IT..... See thats what im saying the county is pulling for the underdog like i pulled for the Arizona cardinals but it didnt happen like it wont 2mar night.. and by the way we wont deal-wit-it cause lossing to SG or anyone else in the conference wont be accepted...... and the boys feel the same way

Its so nice hearing all the talk around G-ville about the game. For the most part its people saying & hoping SG wins"NOT" look people lets be real. south greene is good but can not play at the level of the DEVILS and you know this. its fun to want a good game and cheer for your team but come on... the "DEVILS WILL WIN BIG" not cause of money but cause we play football at a level the county schools are not ready for. DEAL-WIT-IT......

I really dont think this game will be close at all. I heard in yesterdays film session that coach ballard really let some of his players have it for lack of intensity and effort in the betsy game. So, I would hate to be on the field against the devils on friday because it might get ugly....(SG 67- NG 7 it aint funny when your on the other side)

You're wrong. High ankle sprain. But Hall and Church are back. It'll be a battle Friday night. I don't think Story being out on D will hurt the Devils too much. They have some good talent coming off the bench to fill his position. I'm not sure what to expect in the RB position though.... other than having B.J. and maybe Shuffler ..... My understanding is that Anderson was dismissed from the team last week and then Chaz was injured in practice.... NO NO NO. Anderson was not dismissed.

well well well!!! this is what we all been waiting for, a game thats huge for respect in NET football. at lease for the DEVILS cause where not getting any from the good people north of G-ville. thats OK we will earn ours on the field. YES HALL AND CHURCH ARE BACK so the already solid D was the other 2 starters it missed in weeks 1 & 2. its been 2 great weeks of practice and now ITS TIME to KISS THE BABY!!!!!!!

If you give the D to Greeneville and the O to Betsy, won't the resulting implosion cause a tear in the space-time continuum? Seriously Greeneville should have Church and Hall back on D and some crazy speed. Hall can wreak havok with the pass rush. Could force some turn-overs.....something Betsy had problems with against SH. If its Greeneville D against Betsy O.....great defense wins.....advantage Greeneville. Oh and don't forget the Devil kicking game. Hughes will certainly not give Betsy any field position and Ogle is capable of kicking 40 yd field goals. barb check this out. the good old J C PRESS has us (the devils of course) ranked 7 in NET football poll behind Daniel Boone!!! now that funny...

i think coach B will have the boys ready. there coming off another hard battle wit the south rebs and now have a week off to fine tune the lil mistakes.. MEL & BROCK WILL BE BACK..so the D will be at its best for a bestsy team that has an offense that can score!!! I think this is a very important game that the DEVILS have to win to show the area and the state that the DEVILS are REAL!!!! as for the J C PRESS you really think GREENEVILLE is only the 6th best team in the tri cities area? you'll need to get out and ask somebody then try that again.. go to kingsport, south will give some good info about the BIG GREENE.......

I do remember that wonderful ride home last year. The tears of the Greenville fans paving the way as your team could not figure out how they caved to the pressure of having a BIG lead and blowing it. Can we say choke. And yes, I was very proud to have watched Jeff-Co smack a top four finishing program on their home turf. Nice field too. BTW Jeff-Co’s record last year was not great, FOR SURE. After losing McFall in Game 3, Jeff-Co was in DEEP trouble. As would most any school who lost their starting QB/Running Back to a season ending injury. stop living in the past. friday will be here before you know it and you will still be thinking about last year. we loss our QB before the playoff and still made it to maryville that what a team does OVERCOMES...

ok you can talk about last year if you want to but if im not mistaken we finished in the top 4 in the state and you'll finished 3-7. check this out the 09 devils will win big on friday and it will be a long ride home for MORRISTOWN JUNIOR (jeff county)...

ok first of all this is how you spell greenEville. for the game this friday make sure you'll bring your punter some cream to rub down his leg cause he will get plenty of work. the devil D will be the best you'll will see all year. so 3 an outs will be the norm for the pats all night.. see ya friday.. yes Devil camp is over and the boys are home resting. this is what i love about green devil football. a team that can play, stay, and PRAY together will win together. i also want to thank the coaching staff. they stayed with the team all 3 days of camp and took good care of the boys while there families where home. thats comitment to win..

Why were the Greeneville boys at the 7 on 7 between Chuckey Doak and South Greene? If they are not worried about any of the Greene county teams why would they waste their time? Just curious which one were they there to watch. Just came to see how horrible CDHS was gonna be, and yeah they are horrible. SG looks ok. And Julius (JUICE) and his two 5 foot 3 inch friends were talking trash to the devils that were in the stands, just adding gas to the fire. Julius was gonna come to greeneville last year, but left after 5 summer workouts cause they were to hard........ CDHS WILL HAVE TROUBLE BEATING NORTH GREENE THIS YEAR. So they have no reason to be on a field with Greeneville.

I agree. West greene probably does have a bigger and stronger line. But im also sure that they WILL not be able to block Greenevilles D line.....

I saw the SG CD 7 on 7 and SG destroyed them. Your passing game looks pretty good. Pretty good Qb. But idk if they will be able to get much on Greenevilles secondary. And I love Jalen Shuffler (one of the best football layers ive ever played with). But NO county school, including Sg, will have 100 rushing yards on the Devils first D.

Austin Perkins. He is from Florida. He was jvs quarterback last year. This year he will be seen mostly at outside linebacker. He is a tuff and hard hitting player, which is how he plays on both sides of the ball. At quarterback he will run alot (great runner). Best thing about him is that he is a leader.

The Greeneville Devils from North East Tn. They made to the state simi-finals last year in the 4a playoffs, losing to Maryville. Moving down this year to class AA (4a in playoffs) where they really belong, should be very good for the Devils. The devils are goin to be very skilled on defense, losing only 3 players. The offense only returns 3 players, but is going to be very good........
