  3. Personally I don't think WH had any cheap shots. This is coming from a Catholic fan. Yes, there was some extra stuff going on on the field, but I don't think that was a lack of class, just more of the emotion getting to everybody. By the time the onside kick came around, and all the players were on the ground the clock had run out and the WH players knew they had lost. So that was pretty emotional for them, and I'm sure they just let it get the best of them. As for KC retaliating, I have no idea why that was, maybe it was just a misunderstanding and he was just trying to get the WH player off of him on the ground and the WH player thought he was doing more, I don't know i can't speak for him. But Catholic wins with class. They don't take cheap shots.
  4. Ok...so...this post would make sense....if it weren't for a few things. That was professional football. This is high school football. And i don't know where you come off saying Catholic is cocky, I'm pretty sure they will prepare for this game very hard and not underestimate Mitchell. It's the finals. Mitchell has to be good in order to get this far. Catholic is in no way cocky. And no one is saying Mitchell shouldn't show up. You said that in the White House thread and nobody did say that. And Catholic is not unbeatable, but they do know how to win. That's why they're undefeated. Good luck to Mitchell and to Catholic. Is there a website for Mitchell football where coacht-ers can look at stats?
  5. We've all been waiting for it. Ever since '02 when both Lipscomb and Catholic started dominating. But even though Lipscomb makes it to state, Catholic seems to choke every year come playoff time. Catholic seems to be on a run and with only Mitchell to beat (no easy task but they can do it), Lipscomb appears to be going on to another state appearance. Is this finally the year we will get the Knox Catholic vs David Lipscomb throwdown?
  6. Knoxville Catholic-14 White House-3 Catholic has a great defense. The best in region 2 and possibly in the state. Not sure how good WH is but trust me they will not be scoring much. Then again WH might have a good defense too. If thats the case look for a low scoring game.
