FULTON (where are they from East Tennessee). the number one AA team in the state this year was from East Tennessee... Austin East. I just dont think you can say they dont stand a chance considering they won the state last year in double A... Then the Carter Hornets r from east tennessee, but i highly doubt they can pull off a state championship. Heres my picks A- Humboldt or Grace AA- Fulton or Bolivar AAA- BEARDEN

o we know the west is stacked they are every year, but beware of the east were no longer a joke anymore we have some ball players, and i think weve proven our self over the past 4 or 5 years. Still west is the best tho.

or you could go east tennessee with Grace A Fulton AA (won it last year, maybe to repeat with another gold ball) Bearden AAA (number 1 team in state no loss coming from any teams in the state of tennessee... best team in the state on paper won the substate game and region championship by a combined more than 80 points theyre on a roll) and i think ur picking the wrong team from the west i would have to go with raliegh right now by the way they are playing, they will give Bearden the biggest challenge. Still White Station is a very good team.

That Science Hill team your naming is in my opinion the best team to play in Tennessee... they beat some good teams by 100 point margins... and they were ranked number 2 in the nation at one point.

Carter has a few more three shooters with Zach Ballinger, Lee, and the freshman Brayland is streaky, but can get hot... and there is no doubt about Lester going D1, he can stick his arm pits in the rim and has a nice jumper he has a lot of work to do but he will no doubt go D1 with ease. Meady is soft, but he can be a threat.

i dont think you can compare the Carter vs AC game, that was the second game of the season the Carter team now would beat the Carter team at the beginning of the season by 30 its like night in day. Union has to come out hot or they will take a beaten. im gonna make a bold statement and say Carter by 12. Lets see if i can keep predicting em right...on a 4 game streak right now lol best of luck to union though

Your pretty much right about everything in my opinion except i believe the bulldogs may bring home the gold ball... its gonna come between them and raliegh and bearden if raliegh makes it past melrose...

sorry to burst ur bubble my friend i have watched just as many or more games than you, but not only am i a spectator, i have played against many of these players. I never said Bearden will win state, but i will tell you this they are the best team in the state on paper... many of these Bearden players could start there freshman year where i play college ball (which isnt too small of a school). The only difference i see in some of the schools you named and bearden is Bearden dont have the so called "superstar" they have 5 superstars playing together and that is what i think seperates them from some of the other teams they run 10 deep and play really well together. They are gonna have to bring all they got to the state tourney cuz raliegh egypt, and white station will give them all they want. Two very good teams! what i was saying in my previous post is one player is not going to beat bearden its gonna take more than that. I will tell you right now Bearden wont be able to stop Joe Jackson, but im also saying Joe is gonna need some help against this team. and thanks southeast u understood my point.

Yeah man to be completely honest, im not jumping on the band wagon like a lot of ppl, but Bearden is legit one of the best teams ive seen come through east tennessee and deservingly the number 1 team in the state this year. I know the West has got a lotta talent this year, so im thinking this years state tourney is gonna be a really good one to watch.

My team went to state that year, so we got to watch that Liberty team play the day before we played. One of the best, quickest, fastest teams ive seen in a while... blew out every team they played... they would have probably one the state in AAA that year. but after seeing both teams play gtl and to be completely honest im not a bearden fan, but it would be a close game, but Bearden would come out on top in that game.

Its simple... better athletes + decent coaching= solution to the problem

His time will come next year when he is the best gaurd in the state, he is a very very good player!... but cant really put him up against John Jenkins right now. Solid Ball Player though. take this into consideration though AA and AAA are two different types of basketball... Joe Jackson is facing better competition as well.

Carter... great talent!... a lot of potentail... sayin that its tournament time you do not know whats going to happen. AE is a much better all around team than Carter, but if im correct the two previous times they played, they played them tight for one half so all Carter has to do is stay composed through the second half. Also you dont wanna make it a run and gun game with AE they need to slow the game down thats the only chance they have. be patient and wait till they get open shots. AE fans the chances of Carter winning is not good, but its tourney time dont say it cant happen.

bad idea no shot clock because many teams in high school ball dont have the talent to play with these other teams, but what can help them win is milking that clock slowing the game down. being well coached! Its not like college... college you recruit ur players and you have good players on every team, but in high school you dont recruit you get the players that are zoned for your school and say if an undefeated good team was playin a decent team then the only chance that decent team has is to win the game is to work the clock, pass the ball around until they get a good shot. Thats why there should be no shot clock in high school ball.

Yeah ur probably right about those scores, but it was much worse than the score said at the end... The Oak Ridge game Powell was up on them bad through out the game, until the fourth quarter where they whipped up on powells second team... The Farragut game was completely ugly through out the whole game but same story as Oak Rdige game with the whole second team coming in the fourth quarter. I think Bearden is much better than Maryville and that Powell team. I think Bearden has a really good shot at winning it this year.

You may be right because LC has a good team dont get me wrong... plus you never know whats gonna happen tourney time!
