i am intrested to see how cornersville attacks culleoka's defense they can't score inside on them darnell is avg 7 or 8 in the two games aginst them there outside shots are not what they were a year ago they could really use chuck at a time like this he can shoot the ball very well from anywhere on the floor i think culleoka just has to much size and strength to even come close to losing. Stiles and Darnell better put up so numbers for them to have a shot and as far as Ca and Richland go Ca can't get in the foul trouble they were Tuesday or Richland will beat them.

with culleoka having the first round bye i will be at ca watching them play moore county and i hope to see williams have a good game cause if they do make it to culleoka he more than likely won't touch the ball. He is a great player and that is why culleoka don't let him get the ball plus culleoka is the only team that has someone six foot two that is just as quick and prolly faster than he is that is why he don't score a whole lot aginst them, but he does do some things that don't show up plays great defense when he wants to and has a knack for the ball had prolly 5 boards last time i saw him play.

well upshaw stayed out with his ankle just so he is fully rested for district and chad will be back with them two out it gave a few young guys a chance to step up and play mins in varsity while the game is still within reach. james was just taking as much of the swelling and staying off of it as much as possible.

the next two games will give the three juniors a chance at point and will help the team i think in that aspect but as for the officals i believe the same offical called all four t's in the game (all aginst cully) no for a offical to call four on one team is just unheard of and for that reason alone tssaa should evaluate and look at this game and should seriously consider him as a problem on there staff four t's isn't common but on one team i have never seen before that was the absolute worst officating i have ever seen that group of officals should never be together again

I am pretty sure culleoka will get fined for chad's actions but the ref should never be able to ref in another basketball game in this state. If anyone was at that game they will agree that the refs were the worst ever they called a horrible game for both teams. At one point after chad got tossed cj got the ball in the low block and stiles fell and they had a whole foot inbetween them and they called a charge on cj stiles was already falling before cj even caught the ball. As for Chad he knows he was wrong and he will come back for the tournement and take over and lead this team to state i hope.

culleoka won by 48 it was a really really boring game untill antwane almost dunked on a fast break over someone they were up 46 to 12 at the half they played good tonight the jv didn't score a point and they were in the whole fourth quarter final was 69-21

the way i see it is 1 seeds are going to be Culleoka and Summertown 2 seeds are Ca and Collinwood 3 seeds Huntland and Perry County 4 seeds Cornersville and Wayne County. ya there at cornersville my question is to the district 12a fans collinwood and summertown both get upset by a not so great forrest team and culleoka beats them by thirty both times i beileve that this show defense will win you games not offense. Culleoka might only score 60 to 70 points a game but they hold the other team under 35 a game on an average. with summertown and collinwood if they don't score they don't win it looks like and summertown didn't give me the showing i expected out of them when they played at the christmas tournement. They did play triple and double a schools but still those games proved that a good defense stops a good offense who don't play defense. i believe that any of the top four teams from district 11a have a chance to beat summertown and collinwood when they play them i hope collinwood plays cornersville because that would be a perfect match up for both teams and be a great game. Summertown vs Huntland or Ca would be a good game both have 4 gaurds on the floor at all times would be a great game with either of them.

most teams are starting to play round two of district games and Culleoka is the only team without losing a district game but summertown beat collinwood and summertown got upset aginst perry county. Both collinwood and summertown have been beat by forrest and culleoka is playing them tonight for the second time and ca has only lost to culleoka by 12 and looking better so it could be a intresting region tournement.

williams is a good player and does deserve to be in the running for mvp but he will not win it whiteside has a better chance because he has been leading ca in scoring i think not sure but i think. Culleoka chad and antwane should be the two from culleoka battling for it antwane should get it with his defense and offense he is a factor on both sides. as for darnell i believe styles deserves it more because of his scoring ability isn't based on his post up game he can drive and is really quick and athletic darnell isn't as quick and athletic. I also believe Roberson from hunland should have a little notice for the award also he i a very good player. I wish the williams kid was about six foot he would have a great college career ahead of him, he could still play but he won't be as effective as he is in high school.Maybe Ca and Huntland can pull out an upset aginst summertown or collinwood in the region tournement when it gets here.

when i played for cully two years ago i was hoping that moore county got to state also i would go for any team in the district over any other team just because i was in the district.

everyone takes things way to serious on here come on its a post about 11a basketball and who we all think will win it you don't have to make smart remarks about what other people say. If you put facts in your statments then its fine but you don't have to act like a little kid and say well lets give them the trophy or draft all them to the leauge if there so good. Come on were not here to complain about other posts were here to say what we think and show are spirt for the school that we like. We all make comments about what we think is going to happen and people blow it up into a big deal just settle down if someone says the games are boring which they are it dosen't mean anything but they are playing good and the other team isn't its not anything towards someone personal so get over it.

he just said its boring cause its easy for us and nobody said are players should be drafted maybe everyone else just isn't as good as we are. Maybe we got seven really good players to everyone elses two really good players and the rest role players

what year is darnell and why diidn't he play alot last year

hey you are right size dosn't mean a thing unless the people with size can play i know i could kill the twins in the post two years ago i did it every day at practice and i am maybe six foot but they know how to play and are very very good on the defensive side of the ball antwane had six or seven blocks aginst humme fogg and humme fogg ain't a joke.

ya but does CA have a whole starting five over 6'2. No i don't think so and i am pretty sure Culleoka does that makes a big difference Culleoka's d is one of the best in single a and i think is the best in single a throughout mid tn. they help cascade to 7 points in a quarter. cheateam county to 10 in three thats pretty good to me.

Collinwood came off a lose to Summertown and were down they got them on a good night. Culleoka dominated Cascade twice already this year and held them to 7 points in one half last night. If Cascade is the best team in this district then district 11a is way above this district because Huntland played Cascade down to the wire a three point game tonight at Culleoka Christmas Classic is was a good game but Cascade dosn't have enough scoring besides 22 and 4 outside thats just my opinion though.

ya i am sure that he will score when we are up by 20 he will not score his average i bet cornersville don't win either. well there size is an advantage but antwane is quicker than everyone thinks believe me darnell isn't to great if they can't win a district game yet.

when they start playing defense like culleoka and allow about 40 points a game then tell me numbers scoring won't win anyone a championship what would they do aginst humbolt or mannass. Culleoka hasn't allowed more than 50 points only twice both aginst double a teams. Culleoka played Cascade last night and only allowed 7 points the first half Cascade's leading score had 0 in the first half and maybe 10 all game. The last 6 single A teams have all scored 37 points or lower aginst them with are largest scoring at 71 aginst forrest a team that beat Collinwood 48-46 i think and Culleoka beats them by close to 40 you tell me what that means. Defense will show up every game offense will not!

collinwood is not one of the best two teams in the district they have had almost the same team for three years and still can't be summertown.They can't play defense i assume because they gave up a hundered to summertown. If they can't play defense aginst summertown then they can't make it to the state tournement and i believe whoever wins this region will go to the state tournement.Culleoka is not a high scoring team because they play defense they don't have to be a high scoring team summertown and collinwood have to be high scoring teams to win most games.When culleoka wants to score they could score anytime they wanted to aginst both teams, I am not saying they will because they have to do the playing not be but they have the ability to score on any team. As for CA i haven't seen them play but i know there players and know who they have and how they play you would think after a year together that they would play better together than they do now. Summertown has only played two teams that are quick and athletic and they are 1-1 aginst them they beat spring hill who is having a good year but also lost to independence and they are having a good year too. But all I am saying is that summertown will have trouble with the athletic teams. Now comparing summertown to culleoka is tough because of the totally different styles of play but culleoka has beating franklin county, humme fogg, and there only lose is to westview who returns threee starters from a state tournement team in double A Culleoka's largest amount givin up is 67 then 53 that is impressive aginst Humme Fogg i know that they had a returing starter who averaged 26 point per game last year and they held them to 53 points as a team. I don't konw much about summertown but summertown has givin up this is aginst good competition 85 to collinwood, 70 to spring hill (scored 73),72 aginst lewis county(1-7 team)and 62 to independence(lost 62-54).sos is close to the same but they need to outscore to win culleoka don't.Collinwood isn't even in the question because there schedule isn't good and they lost to summertown and they lost to forrest after being ranked 2nd overrated to me.

it dosen't matter who is better than who to tell you the truth because anyone below culleoka can beat anyone else any time. but culleoka is on the different level that they have been on for 3 years now and this year nobody in the district is at that level. any comment on the other district with summertown putting up a 100 point showing aginst c wood at c wood. my question is will summertown be able to shoot that good aginst culleoka's size and athletic abilty. that will be the best game of the year in the region campionship game if they both make it there.

ca is impressing people and culleoka is winning like there spose to this could be a good second game the first one will give ca a little knowledge on what they need to do to win can't remember where the second game is but i think its also at ca could be a really good game late in the year! Chad stepped up with 5 three's tonight his first good all around game. I know the reason was that the game is at a slower pace he just needs to keep improving on his point gaurd game and keep shooting like last night and culleoka could make a really good run!
