hughes is hampton stop him you win the game simple as that. lake co will be called for a lot of charges and will be in foul trouble because the try to block every shot just like athletic teams try to do. perry co more balanced but keep cannon from getting the ball and tucker from second chance points mercer out of the lane it will be hard for them to score. middleton make the play from the outside keep of the boards and they will also foul a lot with there athletic ability. all that being said i don't care who wins i just love ball former play from not to long ago feel like the talent is actually down this year in single a from when i played (07) but still they all have their faults lets see who excutes and play good ball.

If i remember right which i do d12 has only been on top the last two years

i haven't posted in a long time but i have seen the last five state tournements and from what i have seen from the teams from hampton and cloudland in the others from there in the past they don't have the talent that is in the state tournement. With that being said it doesn't mean they don't now, I remember in 07 playing a cloudland team that "could play with anyone" and beating them by 22 so until they can prove themselves they won't be on my mind as a team to advance past the first round.

My sister plays for Culleoka High School softball team and is looking for a team to play on this summer in middle tennessee. She plays every position most comfortable at 1st catcher and outfield strong arm good bat anywhere 2-6 in the lineup. Not speedy but has good instincts and a good first step. Rice is overconfident and does strike as cocky but also a good player not very good just good. he has no post game or didn't use it against cully when he had a 6ft gaurd on him. His swagger is bigger than his game is, to have a swagger like that you need region and district championships under him and he don't and will not get one this year. pc have locked him down from what i have heard. wc didn't close well at all aginst cully that shows that they won't win a championship. Players like demario williams and tyler jean even wes long and logan harville, those players deserved the swagger and i don't think they ever talked to the other teams crowd because they were excited and was standing up next to him clapping because he got a charged called on him, as t. rice did i have no respect for a kid like this i label him as way overrated.

the team from ky had a 6'7 big man along with two 6'4 players they had size which is cully's week point when cully got there run they ahd the big man in foul trouble. cully hot beat by the officials i know everyone says you can't but i believe the fouls were something like 56 to 20 with three starters and one bench player fouling out for cully. When the fouls are like this and 30 fouls in the second half with 20 in the fourth quarter alone cully should of still won they just didn't knock down shots. For all the Santa Fe fans congrats on getting the huge victory over MH who has a combined 2-200 record since i have heard of them. Beating them by 10 is amazing i didn't think it could be done. Santa Fe i hope your point gaurd can score 30 a game and lock down someone that is actually good like upshaw or ryan. Santa Fe dosen't play any team that will make it past there own district there schedule isn't good at all and they can't beat a team in the clutch they have always been that way they won't make it out of the district tournement again they hardly do. i am saying they will get beat by every team in the district this year with the exception of hampshire maybe.

Culleoka is going to Lewis County tommorrow to play is a hall of fame playday they will play a ky team and the collinwood. Culleoka needs to have a big developmental year this year and next with the middle school destroying through all teams on there schedule they should be a little better every year for five years to come.

middle school dosen't mean a thing for example ryan pilnkington from culleoka was on that team yet he never saw the floor as a 5'4 90pound gaurd who couldn't handle strength and now i believe he is 6'4 can throw it down on a good day and gained strength and also a deadly shot. Second thing is that Culleoka is missing the best player off that middle school team in Taylor Greene who isn't playing anymore who would be the point gaurd. Turner is not the missing piece for Culleoka he wouldn't be playing anyway he hasn't grown and didn't get any bigger. Without Taylor it did hurt them a little but it doesn't matter if chooses not to play it ok Culleoka has to take atvantage of what they got and that is defense and experince in the big game every one of these seniors got the chance to play in the state tournement and they know what it is like to be there they might not come close but they want to hold the district title just like they did 2 out of the last 3 years. James Upshaw has a major improvement in his shot and is also 6'2 and from his freshman year till now learned discipline and gained 30 pounds of muscle. Riely is a guy who can bring different elements to the game if he does all the right things he has to be smart and not try to do to much. Culleoka is missing the clutch player from 07 with josh blade and Demario 08 Demario and Chad Stephens 09 Chad and the twins 2010 ? that will be the key there will be closer games this year and this is when they need to find that go to guy. The post is a big issue ya Jackson had 14 but beleive me he is the least developed player out of all the starters and need to improve throughout the year to be big in tournements. All and all Culleoka won't dominate anyone this year but untill there crown is taken they should be the team everyone is going after maybe not on here but in the locker rooms i promise every coach is saying we need to beat Cully this year to get a championship. Culleoka will be no lower than 3rd in this district no matter what Santa Fe has to say!

Santa Fe has about as good as chance as our girls do against your but you never know i think people underestimate culleoka because of the lack of big name talent thats fine it might be there worst season in five years but the teams are not as good as the use to be

i am not trying to start a big arguement but i can't stand people being bad losers and make up some of the most rediculous crap on here i stand by the facts which is what i said earlier

na... we were more refurring to the other like 7 players that have came through there that just happened to come from ea cox, or whithorne....but i'm not getting into this.... a new team will take it this year, and culleoka will be lucky to come in 3rd ok first of all i played on the 07 state tournement team and one player that played a vital role was from ea cox and the twins and mario lived maybe 2 mins away from the school that wasn't recruiting it was a decision there family made not them. also i know for a fact that cjs mom wanted him to have a better life and opprutunity for furthering his education which he is right now at vol state. Now as for this season it won't be the culleoka everyone is use to but they are always well coached and will be top 3 for sure at the end of the season and make a strong run tournement time.

If you go back two years to when Clarksville played aginst Maryville in the finals and maryville won in triple ot both student sections were packed and that was one of teh best games i have ever seen. Also i played for Culleoka that year and we had two sections filled up the whole school was there i saw people there that i have never seen at school before and thats what the state tournment should be about all the students wanting a title just as bad as the players. That year was Culleoka's first apperance ever and students were lined up all outside the school with signs of support and everything else that was the most amazing thing espically being a senior and playing in those games.

two years ago i played in the state tournement and i didn't care who we played as a player when you get there you know that every team has the chance to win no matter how week the teams they played are because they made it there for a reason last year in the ncaa davidson wasn't spose to go that far every year teams get upset in the ncaa tournement so it dosen't matter who you play you go out and play ball like your team has done all year the players know what they have to do and believe me seeds won't help there will still be upsets high school players play for the love of the game not because they get paid so they just want to play.

in the forrest game summertown scored 53 points and lost by 15 in the perry county game summertown score 59 points lost by 3 to freshman and sophomores as you said in the independence game who isn't one of the best triple A teams summertown scored 54 points lost by 8 with this three games it proves to me that summertown lost to atleast two teams that they should have beaten and had a "down night" culleoka has not lost team a team that they shouldn't have lost too culleoka's two games they lost 62-67 to a westview team that had a state tournement team last year in double A MBA 67-68 in overtime to a division 2 team maybe not one of the best but always has great athletes the beat franklin county twice 48-44 and 38-26 franklin made to to there district championship game but lost in the first round of regions culleoka beat forrest twice 71-37 and 59-28 that tells me that defense will show up every night no matter how bad your shooting the ball or anything summertown has to have a really good shooting night to beat culleoka and i am not saying that it won't happen i just have enough confidence in my guys that they will do what it takes to bring us back to state

plus they don't have to score 60 points a night to win like summertown does they play d and summertown don't that's going to be the difference in the game

i watched summertown play aginst wayne county in the district and i believe culleoka's d will shut them down they do have the speed to gaurd these guys. Culleoka will have to shoot good but inside they will dominate so summertown better grow a few inches during the next few days because i know they can't gaurd the twins good luck to both teams.

Garrett is a good player and never talks trash on the court i know from experince. Now for the tournement team cj holt got ripped more than anyone else i have ever seen he plays the best defense out of anyone in the district and has been for four years. Yes he isn't a scorer but that isn't what the all tournement team is about its about good players and when a team that has dominated the district tournement and regular season like culleoka has the desrve more players than a richland and don't deserve the same amount as a team that went one and out. That is what i think about that all three players from richland that were on that team are good but i don't think they are better than any of the 5 cully starts.
