Did anyone go to see this scrimmage Thursday afternoon? If so, can you tell us how the teams looked, and whether there were any stand out performances. Thanks for any info!

Have to agree with the guru on his assessment...I think the team with the least errors wins. I know the Cougars have a lot of respect for White House, but I'm not so sure if it is reciprocated by the Lady Devils. Hope nobody gets hurt, and that both teams win Friday to get in the State Tourney!

The only chance Goodpasture has of winning this game is for the Lady Blue Devils to "lay down" like they did in the District 9AA championship game...at least that's what White House Coach Cindy Towers said cost them the game last week! To quote Coach Towers...“I think we just took for granted in the second ballgame that we already had our berth in regions...We were more satisfied with that than trying to win a district championship...â€

I'll tell ya what NOBODY SAW...was where that moon shot that #20 for the Lady Cougars hit off of Miss Fogle in the championship game landed...if it ever did!!!

Congrats to Davidson! Let's give some props to Savannah Hill for the great year she is having! For sure Holly Hockaday is the real deal, but it's great to see a genuinely nice person like Savannah having fun out there on the mound! Great family, too...way to go Savannah!

Congratulations to the Goodpasture Lady Cougars on winning the 2012 Ravenwood Raptor Classic by defeating the Riverdale Lady Warriors 2-1 in the championship game!

I saw Devon pitch a time or two, and I don't remember her needing much help from ANYBODY! I also don't remember many teams beating her, or even hitting her hard, even after the fans of said team starting their whining, which seemed to happen a lot more at some schools than others...and still does!

I played volleyball with Libby's dad when she was just a twinkle in his eye...I know how old she is, too! Our daughters have taken catching lessons together from Doe. That was just a little humor aimed his way since he posts on here from time to time. Fortunately, he has a good sense of humor, and recognizes my sarcasm...sorry if you didn't. Good luck to you this year. I'm sure you are thrilled to have Libby on your team, as you should be.

Are you sure Libby is just a freshman?!? She's been playing 16U travel ball for years, hasn't she? As old as her dad is, I'm sure she must be a junior or senior by now!

I am sure that Miss Fadnek is an excellent pitcher with a very bright future awaiting her, but when the leadoff hitter for Grace hit the very first pitch out of the ballpark tonight, I couldn't help but laugh a little after reading many of the posts on here. It's funny how things can come back to bite you sometimes. Best of luck to all of the teams in the championships...they are ALL winners!!
